Our team ain't that bad. Sure we need to add some pieces, but I think we can make it to the final four next year with this roster. There can only be one NBA champion every year and we will get there in the near future. And I believe Marvin, Joe, Josh and AL will be here (maybe not Marvin...Lol)when we win that championship!

To me it all depends on how good of a coach LD is, whether the players buy into his system, and when (if ever) we finally mature as a team to the point where we don't quit when things aren't going our way. Talent wise I have no doubt that we can compete with anyone though.

LOL...... At least we made history! They gave up last year which isn't good. That is what we need to address!

I agree with you. I'm definitely looking forward to next season. Hopefully, Drew will have motion in his plays, and the team will come out with a heart to win. It seems as if some people have already bowed down to Miami and given them the crown. I think our team and other teams with play with more intensity this season, because we will be the underdogs. I don't think we roll over and walk any team just walk all over us, especially not Queen James and princesses.

I hope you guys are right about L.D. Me...I just have a bad feeling about the coaching change. I expect these guys to try to adapt but I see them falling back into old habits when things get tough. I'm prepared to see more ISO Joe and lots of standing and watching. I cannot think of an instance where a team changed its identity in a years time.

I think that is one thing that concerns me, something happened to our team after that All-Star break. Team chemistry just wasn't there. Who/What was problem? I don't know but I hope they address the issue. We have the talent.

Honestly, I'm just imagining all of the NBA teams are sharpening their nails to attack the Miami Heat , including the Lakers. I am hoping the Hawks are doing the same thing by realizing that they have to make changes in order to succeed.

Yeah, Miami will have a big bull-eye on them every game. Hopefully Atlanta will be up for the challenge. We actually match up well with most teams.

I see the Hawks performing well against the Heat during the regular season but as we Hawks fans know the postseason is a whole new animal. Not even close. Sure sweep with the Heat beating Hawks by an average 20pt. Just call me Hawkstradamus when it happens.

We made it to the Final 8 two years in a row and the SAME result with the SAME team....see where I am going with this?!?!

if this organization had any INTENTIONS on being one of the best they would have shown it by now. This ownership group is *****ING terrible.

Anybody on here that says otherwise is crazy as heck too!!

I was listening to Hubie Brown and he said it plain and simply. We lost to a better team in Cleveland in 09 and a better team in Orlando in 2010. We have a great young core of guys who will learn how to win. Give it 1 or 2 more years before we dismantle this team. Give them a chance to succeed!

You are kidding right? This team has basically been the same the last 4 years...nothing is changing except we are all getting older.

Nope! That is what he said and I'll listen to a basketball expert rather that any armchair GM(the Media) anyday of the week. I get frustrated just like anyone else, but I understand what our position is right now. We are a still young playoff team that needs to add a few more pieces to succeed. Ask any basketball expert and they will tell you the same even if they don't like our ownership.

The Hawks have become the definition of insanity: doing the same thing over and over but expecting different results. This is going to be essentially the same team with essentially the same coaching stuff. I don't expect anything more than a second-round beat down for the third year in a row.
