I love our roster. I think the additions we've made help us address some of our problem areas. One of our biggest concerns going into this off-season was how we could improve at the SF position. Maybe my thread title is misleading, but does anyone else feel we didn't address it because Drew's plan is to give either or both Smoove and JJ significant minutes at the 3? Thoughts?

I anticipate LD will put the best guys on the floor most of the time. I do not think Joe will have as many minutes as the past as well as Marvin.

I think Josh will Blow up.

I think this offense, if it works, will benefit Marvin. But even with that i'm thinking Marvin will eventually be a good scorer off the bench. Its hard to predict because it depends on what happens with Jamal and if Teague is any good. If Teague can be a starter and Jamal is still here then i would think we'd see a lot of jt/jamal/jj/smoove/horf.

I don't think the SF position is as much of a worry as some here make it out to be. I'm not worried about the SF spot much at all. As JJ ages will probably see more and more time there.

What I am worried out is PG play (both defense and offense).
Defensive post play. Maybe Collins losing 20 pounds makes him better. Thomas is a defenive upgrade but not a solution. ZaZa is ZaZa, we know what we get from him. Maybe Smoove can commit to fundamental post defense too.

I think JJ playing 3 is a good option for us. Jamal can play 2 and we will build a team that is hard for people to stop... especially if the ball is moving.
