  1. I don't see how anyone can defend this trade. He even stinks in the D-league.

  2. I'm still trying to figure out how the topic title relates to the thread..... Did you confuse naming the title of this thread with your address bar in your browser? Haha! I think I may be onto something.

  3. so far his big move was getting Splitter in a salary dump. He traded our first rounder for Hardaway who doesn't see the floor. Im not feeling this team this year. They don't look like they are going to make any noise at all in the playoffs. What gives?

  4. Wish they would have tried to trade for Jeremy Lamb instead. Otherwise eh.

  5. Splitter is forgettable without Duncan. He fouls on defense and gets his shot blocked on offense. I wouldn't call him bad overall, but he doesn't make much of a difference for us.

  6. The Splitter deal was NOT for benefiting the Hawks during the regular season. It was for giving us quality depth on the frontline during the playoffs. Pero was utterly useless during playoff time. I honestly could care less if Splitter misses games this time of year. I just wished that Bud would use this time to get Edy on the floor.

  7. That @hawksfanatic / AHF duet was solid gold baby!

  8. Looked much better on the paper than it works out on the floor... Pero was a much better fit and cost a lot less... Man I think Dennis would trade Splitter for Pero's picks alone seven days a week and may add half of his salary to the deal happily...

  9. True. We can include this guy too: http://www.sbnation.com/2015/12/2/9837458/zaza-pachulia-mavericks-bucks-breakdown-stats#comments Colin couldn't have written a more poetic ode to The Georgian. Awesome comment section so far, too. Gotta love the blatant shove on that corner shooting screen. I was never interested in Monroe as much of the board was. This is a good illustration why. I never thought I'd miss Zaza this much. It's a culmination of Bebe having his best game ever, in Atlanta of all places, and the fact that Z is tougher than all of our Centers

  10. If Millsap keeps it going he might get 2nd team all NBA honors behind Blake Griffin

  11. To me, the hardest, saddest loss was to the Cavs. Spurs game? Naw. That was just Dad spanking his son.

  12. Millsap has been killing it. Amazing all around numbers. 10th in the league in rebounding.

  13. The Hawks are still in a good spot. A loss here and there isn't bad. They just need to avoid going on loosing streaks if at all possible. At this point in the season the biggest surprises are: 1) How well Orlando is doing. 2) The Pacers are also doing better than I expected. 3) Washington looks terrible and you have to wonder if it's a coaching issue. Also, the playoff race in the East is very competitive this year. There are teams in the East with winning records that are out of the playoffs and teams in the West with loosing records that are in

  14. I'm definately looking forward to better days. 6th in team FG% despite poor play. 14th in 3 pt percentage has to go up. I expect nothing less than Top 5. We should be better than 10th in fast breaking as well. Being 27th in FTA makes me furious when we're third in conversion percentage. Despite being a smallish, porous rebounding team we aren't bad in surrendering second chance points or paint points. Middle-of-the-pack. Thabo, Baze, and Paul have stepped up. We need Al and Dennis to do the same and Kyle to round into form. We Good.

  15. Hungry and ticked off Jeff is a top 1-2 PG in the East. I just wish we got that Jeff more consistently.

  16. Al is part of the problem, Coach Bud could stop Al from shooting 3's if he doesn't want him taking them. I don't believe for a minute that Bud will not pull someone that continues to do things that Bud does not want him to do. He has way too much power now to be the type of coach that Woody was. Yeah, Al has given some questionable efforts. There was a game a while back where Al failed to make any effort to get a big loose ball in the 4th period. I think it was the 2nd game against Minny. Clearly, he is not giving the effort that we expect from him. I thought Al had more character tha
