We don't have room for a player like Stackhouse. We need a nice defensive 7 footer. Collins can gaurd all the big man but he is of no use at all on offense.
I've read that Mike blames his dad for not being a true father when he was younger. He doesn't give his dad any credit for his fame in the NBA. His dad is trying to mend the relationship but Mike is distant.
I could see him becoming a coach. He is very vocal and leads the team smoothly. He has it in his genes. I didn't think Mike got along with his father though. If someone can confirm that that would be solid.
Dixon, Siler, West would be great! Dixon is just another add on with experience. Siler is a young beast in the making that could suprise some people. West knows the system well and if given an oppertunity, could blossom into a solid NBA backup.
Our bench is so much deeper this year. That is the key. Knowing Joe Smith, Zaza, and Jason Collins are coming in for Al and Crawford (proven scorer) is coming off the bench is key. Hopefully this is the year Josh grows up and if it is then watch out!
Ok, this is my thoughts on what is going to happen this year. Joe is going to have another good season (notice not great) averaging 20 ppg and help develop J-Smoove into the elite player. The Hawks will suprise the league and land the 3rd seed in the East. Hawks will be knocked out in the Conference Finals and Joe will average 19 ppg in the playoffs but will be noticed as the clutch man on the team. The Hawks will offer Joe 5 yr, 75 million to stay and Joe will sign. The Hawks maintain the same starting lineup for a 3rd year.
Joe will come back to Atlanta. The Hawks will end up offering him a big contract and if the Hawks do well this season why would he want to leave? Newspapers can speculate on every free-agent.
