I know it's a guilty pleasure. Honestly though Bol Bol is Wemby without the mindset so a poor man's Wemby I guess. If it's just that he's slow to conceive the NBA game and not his mindset or attitude I would get him for the low though. Big men (C's) are the slowest to develop on most occasions so by the time we got him he'd be just about ready to be a more polished player.

KAT would probably be the most ideal power forward wit Bol Bol being a wild card. A good 7fter or near 7fter with talent around our players timelines will do. We may already have our PF/SF combo in Mo Gueye and JJ though. Other than that I'd look to move OO to the power forward position and get a 7ft talented Center. Possibly in the mold of Derrick Lively (someone who can still play inside out and a high level defender).

Not a fan of the gas but it matches our color scheme. Also it might help Trae feel like he's showing love to his new home (the A) but giving back to the home that got him here since it's an OKC based company.

I've been saying we've been missing a 7ftr for a few yrs now. Although Boban is exactly capable of doing what you said I still don't think he's the answer but I like where you were going with it. Mo Gueye should be that unicorn I've been looking for us to get though.

Do I really have to say it We may be the best kept secret entering this season but it won't stay that way for long. We'll still be doubted in the post season which should fuel our fire enough for a real shot at the chip Championship teams (especially now) Are deep and can withstand an 82 game season Not only have stars but also role players that play big roles in key moments. Just to hint at that AJ hit 2 game winners last yr as a rookie. Our young players and vets aren't afraid of the challenge and even excluding DejounTrae guys like Bogi, Bey and Lundy I'm confident in as well as guys like OO/Dre/Clint/JJ making big stops, rebounds and plays. Cerebral coach that can play the chess game required to win Chemistry, familiarity and comradery We are young but you can tell everyone enjoys each other and are on the same page in the locker room. Other teams may have an advantage on paper but on paper and on court are 2 different things. Biggest question to me is how we will defend??? We all know defense wins championships and if we're top 10 in that department skies the limits Of course many championships require a little bit of luck and great health or atleast healthy at the right time but it's definitely possible. The delayed dynasty might finally be here.

True alot of teams are loaded and have revamped. That's actually what makes most of the difference to me. Revamped teams need time to adjust and gain chemistry. Sometimes that time could be a full season or more. Teams that already have that like the Nuggets for instance last year usually prevail if they have enough talent and can stay healthy. Speaking of the Nuggets teams that go far or all the way usually show or have fatigue which is why many struggle to go back to back. I seriously just wouldn't be surprised if a player that's capable of taking his team to the top in Trae Young (Atlanta Hawks) and a team with a player that's most consistent with getting there in LeBron James (LA Lakers) end up running into each other when it's all said and done.

I wouldn't say disrespect to them but more like respect to LeBron being able to bring out more from players with potential and Cam Reddish still has as high as potential as they come as well as the chemistry they've gained from last year and the players they've added. Phoenix is loaded though on paper but often times "on paper" rosters rarely fulfill expectations.

To be honest I just looked at the list and the only one I would change slightly is Desmond Bane to maybe number 10 as well as bump Anfernee Simons up a little more while possibly moving Herro back some. If we're going on talent and potential I definitely get where you're coming from but if we're going on resumes to this date than it's hard to argue many of their choices. Me personally I would move Klay Thompson back a little more but his resume warrants him atleast being where he is. So far though their list doesn't look too far off although I do expect some changes in the near future and yes DJ definitely has a chance to cement his name in atleast top 5 of that list in the near future.

Barring any regrettable changes I wouldn't be surprised to see these two teams meeting up in the finals. I know this sounds highly bizarre right now but both teams have continuity of most of their core with young breakout candidates on both sides. I really think both DeAndre Hunter and Cam Reddish will live more up to their potential this year and for both this may be their last chance either on our team for Dre and in the league for Cam. Other guys like AJ,JJ, OO, Bey vs guys like Rui, Austin Reaves and other mainstays as well as Jaxson Hayes have an opportunity to really make names for themselves. The East and the West are wide open. On the East you have an aging Milwaukee that may get a new system with a new coach that may take time to learn (old dogs/new tricks). Miami has already been depleted even if they get Dame new role players will have to get acclimated. Boston has been replenished talent wise but do they have the heart? Marcus Smart who was the heart of that team has been traded for a more talented Porzingis but the question is will he fit with the J's and most importantly stay healthy and come thru in the clutch. Speaking of health dealing with back to back yrs of going to atleast the conference finals can take a big toll out of a team. Philly is already going thru drama and may take a step down. Cavs are pretty good but are they truly ready for the limelight? Rest of the East is questionable In the West their is the defending championship Nuggets who seemed to be going thru a championship hangover even before they won a chip. The Joker was more concerned about his horses and now that they've won one might be even more content. Suns look scary good on offense but defense wins championships. Clippers might truly be cursed and are only getting older as health continues to be an issue. Warriors we have been witnessing the decline and I believe we'll continue to be witnesses. Grizzlies/Mavs/Pelicans have issues for different reasons but when your star is either undisciplined or unhappy it usually doesn't end well. The Pelicans still might have the best chance out of the 3. It may sound crazy right now but I wouldn't be surprised to see the Hawks and the Lakers as the last 2 standing. Although they both came from Bud's coaching tree I'd give the edge to Quinn over Ham. Question is will Trae be hungrier than the aging LeBron or will Lebron's know how and will power still rain supreme. I guess answers will come in due time and it starts with both teams having successful seasons.

Because of continuity a new offense (provided by Quin) I see us atleast reaching that 50 win mark. Even when Bud was our coach much praises were given to Quinn and other assistants via DeMarrre Carroll and others. Bud is too hard headed and rigid for this team which is one of the reasons Nate didn't work out. Barring any dumb trades we have a Cinderella/fairy tell type story of a team that's about to unfold this next up and coming season.

Guess that means no Tyrese Martin or Vit Kreiji but on a young team like we have vets like Patty Mills and Wesley Matthews will be much needed over more young players that need to develop.

That's why I'd bet on the hungry one not the one that already ate. Although I get your point.

I would love to miss out on getting Siakam entirely and would rather get an Embiid when he inevitably ask for a trade. Embiid is a game changer and if we got Trae, Murray and Embiid it would be more understandable to trade some of our youth.

I appreciate your opinion and all of y'alls honest opinions. Honestly from what I'm hearing those that dislike Kobe the most mainly have those sentiments because they really wanted Cam Whitemore. I'm torn on anyone named Cam at this point. It's undeniable that every Cam in the league can ball. Ironically I wanted Cam Johnson before we picked Cam Reddish but once we got Reddish and I saw his skillset I was an ultimate fan. Problem with the Cams is most of them although highly talented for some reason have had a hard time getting time on the court. That leads me to believe something about their attitudes, swag or behavior doesn't fit with the "politics" of the NBA. Cam Whitemore came into the draft already looking that way and I don't doubt that he will probably go thru the same "political" struggles in this league. Still I get it because I was looking at Derek Lively before the draft even though I know it usually takes Centers time to develop. The fan in me was like once we made our choice focus on whose a Hawk and what they can bring. I state again I really think Kobe Bufkin will be a high level player but time will tell.

I wish I saw this earlier. I just started a post (slightly different but similar). #15 pick Kobe Bufkin - I see a kid that has some great tools to work with. Mamba mentality he's definitely a Kobe . Although honestly I wasn't ever a fan of Kobe Bryant's ball hogging at least I see some passing potential in Kobe Bufkin and I'm sure we'll develop that even more. Student of the game though and when you mix that with the talent 9 times out of 10 you end up with a great player. #39 Mohammed Gueye aka Mo G - I was a fan of him as soon as we picked him and I saw a few videos on him. His fluidity and unselfishness was impressive as well as his skillset and the fact that he too is a student of the game and picks up things very quickly. He's only been playing basketball 4yrs I believe so he's only going to get better and be a force in this league for yrs to come if he continues that trajectory. So far summer league has proven he's on his way. #46 Seth Lundy - could honestly be considered a steal as well at this draft position. A 3 & D guy that knows his role (but can honestly do more). He's been solid during summer league and has shown many flashes that he can be NBA ready sooner than later. All in all I think we got 3 terrific rookies that are great on and off the court and only add to the plethora of young but poised talent we have on our team. When the face of our franchise is only 23/24 and all of our young players are that talented we have a chance to do something special for a long time.

I'll be completely honest I plan on using this as a reference for the young man Kobe Bufkin to see how he ages in this league. I personally think we have a great player on our hands. I felt that with Mo G the moment I watched his highlights and I'm honestly impressed with all our rookies from their poise to their interviews. Since most of us can agree that we are excited about Mohammed Gueye and many don't have an issue with Seth Lundy I wanted to see the squawks overall consensus on Kobe Bufkin. What do you all think about Kobe Bufkin and where do you project his career to go?

Yep watching this summer league has solidified it for me unless we get KAT or someone I definitely want to stand pat atleast to about a quarter of the season to where we can get a better evaluation. Not worried about the rookies I think they all will develop well and are all two way (offense/defense) players so that was good to see. Andrew Lang will not be our main coach when the season starts but if what he implemented in summer league is any indication of what we'll be doing we need as many 3 and D guys as possible. Trading for an "allstar" whose 3pters aren't his forte will lead us to stats like the one above. With Bogi, Bey, Patty Mills, AJ, Trae, Hunter, Garrison Mathews, DJ, JJ/OO/Bruno (improving), possibly and the rooks (with Bufkin needing to improve) we have a team that can play the 3 & enough defense to play a style that might fit Quinn's system perfectly. Be prepared to see more 3's than we've ever seen as a team before and although there may be some off nights we have a team that's more than capable of making it work.

A few days of practice/off and Kobe Bufkin looks like a clear #15 pick at the very least.
