I just off the phone with my dad, and we came up with 10 things that stuck out about this article: 1) BK does NOT have full power to fire (and likely hire) his underlings. 2) Although BK and Woodson are allegedly very close, BK has been willing to fire his friend, with permission of the ASG, to make the team better,. 3) This further confirms the fact that ownership has no business running this team. If it wasn't apparent by now, it surely is with this article. 4) All that rhetoric by the ASG about "we are reviewing our team and personell daily to see what is best for team" is obviously just BS. 5) The owners have little faith in BK. I mean, if you dont have faith to follow through with the suggestions your GM makes to you (the owners), why have a GM? 6) A rift is about to be torn between Woodson and BK. BK has wanted Woodson gone for the good of the team. Now that this story is out there, how will Woodson respond? This is not a perfect world where emotions don't get involved. 7) Could it be that players going into Woodson's "doghouse" inexplicably was the result of an ulterior motive by Woodson after all? 8) It appears that the ASG really do wear perma-rose colored glasses. It further scares me that Woodson really will get that extension if we make the playoffs. 9) The ASG is not willing to really do what is necessary to make us a winner. We got us a great PG, but now we need to can the coach (and BK). 10) This made BK a little more palatable to many people. He was made out as a lazy, quiet, idiot who wouldnt make necessary moves. With him calling for Woodson's head not once but thrice, this shows me that BK at least knows that Woodson is not the right man for the job. At least he isnt drinking the Kool Aid the rest of the ASG is downing with regularity.

Yeah, good thing we dont play anymore games against the West on this trip or we would likely drop them too. Playoffs? You talking about playoffs? Dont be delusional. Not playing like this we wont---not even against the sorry azz East.

I cannot explaibn for the life of me why Horford, and his dominance, was not put back on the floor until about 4 mins left in the 4th quarter. Suffice it to say, some guy is going to come on here and rationalize it away by justifying Woodson's decision to not put him back in there. Bibby played terrible the whole game. He is still hurt and all, but him and Joe combined for 6-23. Hard to win that way. Josh Smith had a bunch of TOs in that quarter (and the entire game) as well. Marvin Williams, again, didnt show up...sigh, I am so sick of this same old drivel. And for the 3rd quarter specifically you ask? Popovich made adjustments, Woodson didnt. So, we got trounced in the 3rd quarter.

Yeah, the problem is that we get in these huge holes that not even lights-out 3 point shooting will get us out of. We have to start clamping down on defense or else we wont be beating anyone. That is why I get annoyed when people start saying, "We have a favorable schedule coming up" or "XYZ team is missing a starter or two" So? Have you seen our team lately? We cant beat scrubs much less even the cellar dwellars of the NBA if we dont start playing defense. Anyway, I expect our 3 point shooting, post-Bibby, will end up around 35% or so. At least it wont be one of our weaknesses anymore (too bad others have now arisen, or at least come to the fore like our bench, interior defense, etc etc). Btw, who is that in your avatar Hoodstar?

You obviously didnt watch the game. He went into the 4th quarter with just 4 fouls. He didnt play ANY of the 4th quarter. It was just another one of Woodson's poor coaching decisions.

Since I just dont see these jackholes correctly firing Woodson, especially if we make the playoffs, this would be about the only way to get him off our team. BRING HIM HOME INDIANA!

I would expect GS to come out and pressure whoever our PG will be immediately. They will probably revert back to a modified zone and see how we react to it. If we keep draining shots and rebound a bit better, there is little they will be able to do to stop us.

This team is such a different team when they are actually hitting more than one 3 pointer a game. They look good against a team missing two starters. These are games we are SUPPOSED to win. Let's see if they keep up their stellar play. On thing I am worried about is Bibby...he sure looked like he was in major pain at the end of the second quarter. He's a warrior though for playing through it. With this 18 pt lead I suppose we can give him some more rest and let Salim, Chill, and Joe man the PG duties for the time being.

Yes, we are watching the same game. He looked a lot better out there than he used to. He started chucking a bit at the end, but he generally deferred quite a bit and looked decent. Just about every player is going to look bad with someone draped all over you. And yes, I know he was playing the point when he was in there...that was obvious.

It's the coach's job to advise their players what they should and should not do. If J Smoove keeps taking those treys, a lot of that is on Woodson for not making him pay when he does something that he shouldnt be doing.

Agree for the most part. One thing though, I wish people would stop incorrectly using the word "thug." Good grief, by the way some of you use it, it becomes more and more conspicuously apparent that you have no idea what it means. All I will say is that this team needs major changes before we EVER become a consistent good team. And it begins in the Front Office and Management.

I can totally agree with you on that. They can't afford to let that kid go. They thought the uproar after the Charlotte games was bad...oh ho. If they, for whatever way, let Smoove go, they will witness the most vitriol-laden backlash that they have even seen. An improved Horfy playing alongside an older J Smoove next year will be a sight to see.

As we all know, trades have to be approved by the league before they can go through. My question is this: When was the last time the league ever shot down a major trade, and what was the reason for it? Just curious.

Ex would clearly be one of those coaches/GMs who would give up on a player way too early just because he 1)isnt a prototype and 2)doesnt IMMEDIATELY show the skills that only the RARE immediately show when they enter the NBA at a tough position. Plus, he is way too close-minded to have a mature conversation with...as you have witnessed here. BusBoy, it's not worth your time. I got better things to do now than have my IQ drop responding to posts like that.
