I feel like Bazemore is the ghost of Josh Smith.

Bud should stick to doing what he does best...coach. It's been painfully obvious the downhill path we've been on since Ferry has been gone. So many questionable moves and now I don't know what to make of this current team. We don't play defense....Howard plays with effort once every 5 games... Bazemore is a huge diseaster....and now Ilyasova??? How could Bud give Bazemore that big contract??? I am at a loss.

If you look at the stats, Howard and Schröder are doing better than Horford and Teague Horford 15 pts 7 reb 5 assts Howard 14 pts 13 rev 1 assts Teague 15 pts 4 reb 7 assts Schröder 17 pts 3 reb 6 assts Dwight is grabbing 6 more boards a game than Horford and Schröder is outscoring Teague by 2 and continuing to improve. So why is our record so much worse than last year? Is it the chemistry? Is it our 2 & 3 spots? If we could just get decent & steady production from those spots, we could compete with the top teams.

look...it's obvious to all we are struggling on offense, so why aren't we going to Dwight more? Why aren't we designing our offense to be more centered around getting the ball to Howard down low or working it inside out to our 3 point shooters? We need to drastically change our play calling from last year and start going with what works more. Howard needs more touches...a lot more. He is almost unstoppable at times, but then the ball stops going to him. Why? Why doesn't Bud see this as the right way to play this year???

GS also missed 5 free throws, so that is not why we lost. They make all theirs, we make all ours, we still lose 110-109. Do the math. We lost because Korver scored 3 points in 30 mins and contributed nothing on defense. That's like we played most of the game 4 against 5. Millsap and Bazemore shoot a combined 7 for 26. Our bench kept us in the game but the glaring fact is out starters didn't produce. Dennis had a nice game and Dwight was efficient, but the other 3 starters were horrible. THATS why we lost.....not because of free throws. Geez.

Since the Hawks success next season will primarily be determined by the level of play of Howard, Bud needs to come up with a way to get Dwight the touches he needs and come up with an offense that works inside out. IMO they cannot continue on with the same offense they ran last year. I don't know how Dwight will mesh with the fast breaking Bazemore and Schröder? Dwight needs a half court type of offence where he can setup and get position in the paint. Also, the 3 pointers need to be falling to set up the inside out game. Personally, I think Bud really has his work cut out for him and we will find out what kind of a coach he really is. If he can make this work, he will get my utmost respect and praise.

Splitter is horrible. He's soft as a marshmallow and can't finnish at the rim. He's the only 7 footer that uses a reverse layup when 1 foot from the basket.

I don't understand that last play in regulation at all. Stand there and wait until there are 3 seconds left and the entire world knows you are going to take a long jump shot? Why not drive and take it if its there and if not kick out to someone? How about some picks and movement. The Hawks offense is supposed to be all about movement so what do we do for the most important possession of the game? Stand there like statues. I don't get it.

EVERY source out there on the internet and also on NBA TV says that no question, Thomas should be suspended. Will be very interesting to see how this goes down. I admit it wasn't much of a blow to Dennis' head and it looked like it didn't even hurt Dennis, but a suspension should be coming based on the intent and if you go by the league rules.

I did. I asked why not for Teague when he drives and scores and he said: "You're joking right? Not the same drive. Not at all" apparently Cameron thinks Teague's drives aren't "Got-Eem" worthy

So why doesn't Cameron say "Got eeeeem" when other guys drive past their opponents for layups? Why not for Teague?
