  1. Haha true but with Dwill back, I think Joe will be more of a spot up shooter.
  2. Meanwhile JJ scores 29 in one quarter. Seems like the ex-hawks are starting to do things.
  3. Just hit a game winner vs DET, good for Joe.
  4. Josh is starting to prove me wrong. I hope our big 3 (Horf, Josh, Jeff) can keep up their play into the playoffs.
  5. You make a good point, Drew knows how to adjust when a player goes down. Last year it was without Horford, this year it is without Joe and Marvin. I bet you that he can even make up for Josh going down, and that's primarily because he has good game plans coming into the game and knows what each player is good at.
  6. It wasn't like Josh was just chucking either. He tried really hard to take good shots, but he has no feel around the rim. Unless he is dunking or laying it up, he is going to be really inefficient. Horford on the other hand knows how to get in position for easy buckets. If Josh learns how to play off ball it will be good for him and the team.
  7. Joakim Noah is the best player in the whole trade, no way chicago gets rid of him.
  8. Josh just has no offensive game, and we don't have the offensive options to get the best out of him. Horford and Teague are more efficient on the offensive end, and Drew seems to like spot up shooters like Korver. I think the best for both Josh and the team is to trade him. He doesn't really flow with the team, and if we can get back a defensive center for Josh, I am all for it.
  9. Also, whenever Joe manages to get inside the paint, he puts up a soft floater. It can be very effective at times but a layup is more guaranteed. He needs to add a euro step or something to his game that can help him get that extra momentum for an easy layup. Even if he misses the layup, he might get fouled in the process. If the Nets would just have him coming off a screen and cut to the basket, his efficiency and ppg would rise.
  10. Huge Joe Johnson fan, but it's hard to watch him nowadays. Can barely get past his defender, getting worse as a defender, can't really get to the free throw line aside from end of the game freethrows, and his isolation plays aren't effective anymore. Once BKN get's better scoring options, Joe will be a 20 million dollar three point shooter. Kinda sad to watch knowing that he had ALOT of potential. 6'8, good body, decent quickness. Just doesn't know how to get to the basket/line when he needs to. On a side note, when I look at Paul Pierce I always wonder how he manages to get to the rim but JJ can't.
  11. We had Joe last year. We don't have his caliber of player this year so Horf being out effects us even more.
  12. Josh's trade value has to be at an all time low right now. If this trade didn't happen before, no way it happens now. Let's just all pray that Josh gets his shit together.
  13. the problem with Josh is that he wouldn't avg 20 ppg as the primary option near the basket. He is no where skilled enough. People think Josh can be a 20 10 player, but that's not the case.
  14. Jeff has been our best player this year, and he's only getting 28 minutes a game. He should see the floor atleast 36 minutes a game.
  15. It's just one game, people need to relax. Let's not forget that this is a new team and the players need time to gel. Let's not forget that Marvin and Joe both left in the offseason.

21 points for the Duck last night.
  17. I just don't feel like any big name players will consider ATL as a hotspot. Everyone wants to team up and they all wanna team up in places like New York, Los Angeles, Miami, etc...We have to find our superstar through the draft.
  18. Well, he is going to be playing a different role in Brooklyn. He won't be the primary scoring option or ball handler so his FG% should improve. However, since he is playing with Brook Lopez and Kris Humpries, his rebounding numbers will probably decline. HIs assists should improve by 1 or 2. I'm looking at maybe 17-19 ppg, 45-47 FG%, 5-6 apg, 3-4 rpg, 1 spg, and .5 bpg. Not superstar numbers, but should be consistant and more efficient.
  19. Why isn't Al getting atleast 15 shots a game???
  20. Larry is starting to get on my nerves.
  21. Rebuilding, because as it stands now, this team cannot contend for a title this decade with the Thunder and the Heat unless we get the next great player in the draft.
