I was at a party at the Fox theatre hosted by Jezebel magazine...Isaiah Rider was there. He was real cool and talked to me and my father for like 20 minutes. Since then I've refused to bash him.

I hate to align myself with the "tanker" crowd...but just look at it. Teams stuck in mediocrity don't get anything achieved. Its frustrating. Especially in todays league. Its been established that we can't get a difference maker via FA so we can only get it via draft, and difference makers aren't available at 18 in the draft. Frustrating.

I agree with you man. It does seem like an ideal situation. Falcons seem to get what they want...the Braves don't have a problem getting awesome pieces to keep them in the hunt....but this is the Hawks...its different with them. I just don't see it happening.

Joshes shortcomings and Teagues tentative ways are results of their own inadequateness and not the coach. When Josh leaves after next season he will migrate his problems to his new team....they may not seem so apparent because he will probably be on a team with a beast number 1 unlike now but he'll be the same guy. Teague, IMO, will be a career back up. Lets stop believing that a change at HC will somehow translate to two players totally revamping their game.

If Josh was traded for someone like Monta Ellis the pathetic attendance would just become more pathetic. I mean, do you really expect people to come to watch Ellis, Joe and Horf?

You know that saying "If you don't want to be here, GET OUT!!", thats kind of how I feel about this team. This goes for Josh and Joe. Joe is getting a max contract, so I get why he is here, but I know for a fact that he would rather be somewhere else while getting that same money. Josh, I think, wants to see what its like being on one of those ESPN teams. I think he wants more spotlight and he thinks he can get it by not just being a beast, which he is, but by being on one of those teams. Basically I don't think you can make a man play his heart out if he has no passion for the team he's a part of, so get him out. Build around Horf.

We're all part of the Joe Hater Club...he has to do this thing consistently for us to resign from said club. You may say that you've been a Joe fan all along, but I wouldn't believe you. I have this feeling that when he was consistently failing at being THE GUY, you were trashing him as well. BUT, maybe I'm wrong, maybe your were the one saying "Its OK people, he's the ONE, we just have to believe in him and eventually he will be the player that his contract says he should be". Not sure since I don't know you. I'm not sold yet, but I like what I see so far against bad competition.

Lurker here.....Just saying that I'm feeling this Hawk vibe. I like this bench, and I see a couple of starters having career years (Josh,Marvin) so I'm pretty optimistic. We need the 3 seed though.
