Yup I don’t disagree. Blank and McKay are the reasons the falcons remain ass and now the Resselers Tony and lil Nicky are why the Hawks franchise is about to go through devastating seasons. unfortunately the a dark cloud has grown larger over Atlanta. I’m actually starting to believe Ressler is worse than the ASG. at this point I’m just waiting for the hawks to trade Trae so I can officially check out on them. We all know Trae is not going to stay and go through another rebuild. The margin for error is so small now that any move can easily be a big mistake. for the falcons…I checked out mid season and will not follow the falcons until they get an actual damn QB. The only way Raheem survives is if he gets good ass coordinators. No more falcon comments from me after this…sorry mods.

I’m so tired of Atlanta sports right now. we may be heading into some real depressing years with the hawks and falcons. really does suck especially for those of us who attend the games.

Yeah this is a lot more positive type deal being rumored. gives me a bit more hope in our front office…just a bit.

Finally some positive trade talk of a potential Murray deal. now I wouldn’t be mad at all if we could land this deal ! I much rather we see deals that bring back actual value or do nothing at all

What’s everyone’s thoughts on trading for Miles Bridges to replace Hunter at SF ?

I understand the 2nd apron of the luxury tax is basically hell for these owners but I can’t see minny just trading away KAT. they have a legit championship contending team in my opinion . I am sure if somehow they reach the finals or even win the whole thing they are going to find a way to keep that team together. They been losing way too long to let players just start walking away. I’d love to get KAT but I would bet Zion is a more realistic trade option for us.

Blank is going to kill the falcons fan base solely by hiring Belicheck! I hope he doesn’t do it but hiring belicheck is like hiring Saban in Auburn….something that should not and would not ever happen. How embarrassing Atlanta Falcons and Hawks are so bad! Can’t catch a damn break. not to get on a falcons topic but I will say this last piece and not post anything else about the falcons….it really pissed me off the last press conference where blank and McKay was talking about some statistic shows falcons have top 5 attendance!…seriously! I go to those games I don’t believe the fans show up at all. The rumor is fans are walking around the stadium and not in their seats like the Georgia dome but I call bs on it. Falcons been trash since 28-3…we been cursed and doomed ever since. meanwhile the guy who really took us to the SB and lost it for us is back in nfc championship again with the 49ers. Blank & McKay was too stupid to realize who was the true brains behind that great run.

I don’t feel any of these post are negative…it all just clear writing on the wall. the chances of Trae asking out are too high because we have an incapable owner who won’t just let the front office do they’re job. on top of that it’s hard to know how smart this front office is since there’s literally no evidence of what they can do if they could make all the final decisions. really dumb ass way to allow so many to have a voice.

As long time board member…you’ve been known to be a negative poster lol but I have to agree 100% with you on this one. anyone that’s been following this franchise closely like their apart of the team for over 20 seasons is going to be fed up! I’m apart of this crew also and it’s not healthy to be a hardcore fan for a team who can’t get their stuff together. i will always be a fan of this franchise but I will check completely out if we trade Trae and love them from a far distance. It just is what it is. I can’t go through yet another rebuild just from a mental health standpoint. What’s really interesting is how Trae is so impactful in Atlanta that fans still show up despite this horrible record. Love Trae but really shows how desperate our fan base is to get a legitimate superstar. normally I can withstand bad years from the hawks as long as the falcons are doing well but Atlanta sports outside of the braves is just in shambles right now. We suck all over in basketball and football. I hope one of these franchises win a championship that I can see before my times up.

I was actually going to post something similar about OO. He is not the same player under Synder. I still say keep him though since his contract isn’t that much unless he can be traded in a package to return a star player.

I don’t think his value is being taken seriously in these trade offers.

If the front Office & owners have any sense we will see a report that Murray is no longer on the trade market. that would signal a lot of good hope to the fan base. But if we make a trade just trade or to get back picks…it signals the end of the Trae era. Sadly.

Someone has to ask the question….should we start looking at Trae trades and just hold on to Murray to make a potential rebuild not last as long ? I hate that even has to be a discussion but the FO and owners got caught with their pants down and we are suffering as a fanbase.

Agreed! That’s the issue with a lot of the fixes people on this board give. Specifically Supes and Mickey… like yeah it’s good IF all the stars align in order but the reality is that we likely will not pick number 1 in any lottery. It’s just the bullshit that continues to happen to this franchise. I’ll always be a fan but I’m checking out and not following this team closely IF Trae is traded. too many wishful years of wanting a star then getting one and the FO and owner f*cks it all up.

We need some aggression in the front court….. go get this guy. He’s rotting away in Portland. Im here for a Trae, Murray, Jalen, Grant lineup.

If we could somehow beef up the front court while keeping Trae and Murray backcourt combo it may be worth our time in the short run. i know for sure if we had a more aggressive, lengthy front court things would be a different story this season. Trae and Murray aren’t a perfect offensive fit but it works well enough for a smaller backcourt. Defensively we are hurting at the 2 but I just believe a better overall front court would have us looking different.

If this is really a possibility then it’s dumb to trade Murray right now. hopefully they hold on to him
