Is no surprise for me that when we have been able yo get on the court a starting lineup with adequate size we are winning games easily. I like the backcourt of DJ and Bogi, I like Kobe as backup for DJ. Bey as starting SF IS average, Hunter as backup is great. JJ as a PF is becoming a star, we lack a backup Capela is average as Center. OO is average and a bad fit for Capela. If there is a trade out there that gets us a star wing and a good center for Trae and OO or Capela I would do it and a Heartbeat. A starting lineup of DJ/star wing/Bogi or Hunter/JJ/Big C IS in my mind a contender

A Big Center, that should be the target and there are some at our draft range.

Since no trades were made I would try to give the roster a chance. Clearly roster is not balanced and we need some upgrades. There are some players that have been cut and could be great additions to the roster. Backup PG: Cory Joseph, Kilian Hayes Backup shooter: Joe Harris Backup PF: Marcus Morris, Thadeus Young, Otro Porter Backup Center: Robin López, Metu Any of those player might be signed for vet min and could replace nicely Mills, W. Matthews, G. matthews, Bruno...

I can see us moving Bey for Grimes or Okoro. I can see us moving Mills and a second for Delon. However the most importante move is to upgrade the frontcourt, we need a Big C and a backup PF, we need them to shoot the 3 and I see nothing in that direction

Well, I disagree, I think the main problem is balance, we are not a balanced team Young, Murray, JJ, are quality starters on any team Capela, Bogi, Hunter, OO are quality role players. Bey, Mills are quality bench players. Griffin, Bufkin, Lundy and Gueye are young players with high potential Bruno, Matthews can play, end of the bench players. Main proble is that players do not fit, we have no size, no depth at Frontcourt, no defense, no strength. Change Bey, Mills, Bogi and Capela for players like Grimes, Hartenstein or Vaalnciunas, Achiuwa, Herbert Jones and this team is completely different. Play Bufkin, Lundy or AJ and Gueye and you have a quality team

We need a retool We need to trade Capela for a stretch 5, we can even lose in the trade but the fit improvement would be massive. Try to get some value from him while he still has some. We need to move OO at PF, he cannot compete with centers. We need to trade Bey while he still has some value. We should give time to Bufkin, Griffin and Gueye.

Well is easier to build around DJM, JJ and OO than around Trae. Trae should get us a star, as KAT and additionally a real good player.

I have heard Hawks want to get bigger, they are thinking moving JJ to SF. OO is a perfect fit for him at PF. Currently we have good ofensive players and few good defensive players. A starting 5 with a star offensive PG (Trae),a good defensive SG (Josh Hart), a point forward at SF with size (JJ), a Big snd strong PF that os a good defender (OO) and a star offensive center (KAT) is a good fit. Bench needs to include a good defensive guarde (Delon or Melton) and another 2 good defenders at Forward position and C. Rest can be shooters. That team would be a good fit.

I understand that Melton and Dortz price might be high, I would trade Bey or Hunter or both for any of them. Another player that would be a perfect addition is Josh Hart.

The best role players I see on the market are Melton and Lugen Dortz, I think they would be good fits with Trae

The best option we have to build a contender is to trade Bey, Hunter, Bogi, Capela, Murray for a star SG and a star C that can shot the 3. Slide JJ to SF and OO to PF. Possible SG targets: I don’t like any, just Desmond Bane but I doubt Memphis trade him. Possible C targets: KAT, Vucevic, Turner, JJJ, Porzingis

I would rebuild around DJM and JJ and trade everyone else. Capela, OO, Hunter, Bey, Bogi... All are average or below average and have flaws we cannot cover. Young, I cannot see a contender building around him, is impossible for us.

The target should be clear, I said several times before season start, we are extremely thin at frontcourt, we need bigs and size. We play Toronto with OO and Cap, we win. We play next game without Cap, we lose. We could use, Wes, Mills, Bey, Hunter for a clear upgrade at Frontocourt, is really needed, and we need depth.

Well, this was expected as we lack size on the frontcourt. JJ and Capela are average in size for their positions, we don’t have a backup PF, we just play Forwards at PF position. OO is small at C, he would be fine at PF but to play C he need a big stretch 5 that can cover his deficiencies, Capela obviously is not that guy. OO cannot play against big Centers. Overall we have a roster that has flaws, mainly size and strength and the rest of the roster do not compensate the lack of size and strength from Young, Bogi, OO, Bey…. Just Murray, JJ and Hunter have good size for their positions.

Seriously? There are a lot, Jokic, Giannis, Tatum, Embiid, Shai, Wemby, Doncic. I might even consider Halliburton and Sabonis. Not on the list now but it was Ja Morant and Kawhi. Might be on the list Anthony Edwards.

We don't need to trade Capela just to trade him. We have 3 good frontcourt players but they are not a good fit. JJ-Capela is probably the best duo, although they lack size and spacing but I would say they might be average on the league. JJ-OO is probably next but they clearly lack size and the spacing is not good. OO-Cap is a real strong defensive duo but the offense.... If OO can play PF well might be the best duo but his shooting is Work in Progress. At the end I think JJ and OO are keepers, if OO can develop his Game as PF he might be elite due to his defensive fundamentales but as a C he is going to have real problema with some matchups as Embiid, Zubac, Jokic, even Ayton, Adams, Gobert, Allen, Nurkic, Robinson, Kessler, Valanciunas... Ideally we need to change Capela for a stretch C with size. Simeone as Myles Turner, he would be perfect fit for OO and JJ.

In my opinion OO is not a C, he is small, need to transition to PF and I think he is already doing It, I think he can be a great PF. This season he is going to play some PF and small ball C and he Will be a PF going forward. Capela is a good C as well but he surffers a lot with Big C. You said we have one if the best rotation C of the league, I disagree, there are several matchups we don't have an answer.

Some positive things after 2 games. JJ and OO seems that they are showing an improvement this season, this was a much needed improvement. System is working on defense and offense. We are showing the improvement without Hunter and Bey, our shooting should improve with then. Overall I think we might have a solid rotation on Trae/DJ/ Bogi/Bey/Hunter/JJ/ OO/Cap. That is a solid 8 man rotation, or hopefully it will be. On the negative side, we lack depth at Guard, Bufkin is not ready, Mills has been playing poor, Griffin shot is broken…. We need to fix this. We also lack size at C, I think Bruno is not enough. I am hopeful we can make AJ a rotation player, I have a lot of faith in him and I like what I see from Lundy and Gueye, I think they can contribute this year.

Okongwu, Bey and Hunter out today AJ and JJ might have their chance

Kings released Nerlens Noel and Queta, they would be fantastic backup C for us. I doubt we sign any of them.

I think he will spend the time at G league, I don't like the pick honestly, good chances he is a bust at the end

I would do that trade IF Siakam signs the extension. Capela, Hunter and Bufkin for Siakam and Lively, I am fine with that, is a risk for the Hawks but I think is worth. If we need to include AJ on the deal is a NO for me

I have seen Okongwu play many times, he had some good performances and others not so good, he has been dominated by Embiid, Lopez killed us, had hard times covering Allen, Zubac, Portis, Porzingis, Adebayo…. List is not short.. We are really thin at frontcourt, we have only 3 players that can play with some guarantee and that is assuming JJ can play, all of them are below average size, none of them can shoot, I am fine you don’t see the elephant on the room but any team is deeper on the frontcourt than us.
