  1. I just don’t understand this team but I will say I haven’t seen this sort of offensive consistency from Dre before so hopefully he keeps it up.
  2. A remake of this with the Sierra Mist porn star would’ve really hit the mark. Marketing execs failing us.
  3. Man, the Hawks should hire you as GM or coach since you’re never wrong and essentially perfect at basketball decisions. Did you mention this to your sources?
  4. We are really missing a bright spot this season. I’d love to see Bufkin work his way into the rotation and prove me wrong as well. Hopefully he keeps it up.
  5. Also, this wasn’t even an amazing game from Bogi but we need to keep the guy around. Super consistent shot and offense. He has really become solid for us.
  6. Like a lot of games, offense looked good but couldn’t get enough stops to create some real momentum. Matthews did not show up and Lundy let me down. Tough one to watch in person towards the end. Silver lining is my oldest daughter is now a certified Hawks fan, even with the loss. She’s going to have to get used to the adversity!
  7. I don’t post on here much anymore but I am in town and will be at the game! Hoping for a decent showing but hard to know what to expect.
  8. Yeah I’ve come to accept Hunter as a net neutral when he is playing at his best. It’s like he doesn’t know how to have a complete game. I recall maybe one or two times when I thought man, he scored, rebounded, and played solid defense this game! Otherwise he is only doing one, maybe two of those things and it’s at a capacity that has a marginal impact on winning if any.
  9. I get Trae has made a lot of clutch shots but am I the only one tired of seeing him chuck a 3 at the end of games? I really hope to see more from Quinn in closing moments to get other guys involved and also to push that concept with Trae.
  10. The Hornets are not that good. I hope Quinn lights into the team and this selfish play down the stretch. I honestly wouldn’t have had that timeout to bring Trae back in. Let him sit for once in the 4th.
  11. Love to hear it. JC didn’t say quite that about us at his media day but I think we have the right coaching mindset that is going to trickle down to the players.
  12. Didn't put in the investment and now he's paying for it. Literally.
  13. I know we are in an era where players are moving around a lot more but in a fight or flight sense, I've never seen someone so quick to bolt from a situation. Given the amount of big time games he has disappeared in and the amount of times he has wanted to flee a team because the wind has shifted is concerning. He really needs some perspective because if he's going to demand certain things then he needs to show he is capable of sucking up the hard times too and he hasn't shown that. I hope Philly continues to play hard ball and make him stay. Keep him on the "no fly" list. He needs it if he is going to grow at all as a player from a mental standpoint. Or he'll just throw an adult tantrum, we shall see.
  14. Rebounding to me is a key metric for anyone that plays the 3-5 just to get a gauge for how active they are on both ends of the court. I don’t need anything gaudy but I’d really love to see those numbers improve above all else. Rebounding like defense, comes from effort and I need to see more effort.
  15. I'll be rooting for the Hawks next year but second on my list is rooting for the Raptors trade market to run dry and they handcuff themselves and have to shell out to retain some folks or get nothing.
  16. Evan Turner of course. Why do you think he was so upset with how his skills were used with us so when he left us he really found his place in the league…..
  17. “Come on in, meet me at deep sea level. It’ll be just fine. I know what I’m talking about…..”
  18. Another post for @NBASupes to spout out their inferiority complex and insult others when they disagree. All in the guise of that familiar former Hawk no one asked about. Hard pass.
  19. The coordination and athletic ability is already there, he just needs to get his reps in.
  20. Super speculative articles here. Did Trae have some growing pains and maturity issues to work through? Sure, just like a lot of young guys but I’ve heard a lot more positives directly from his teammates’ mouths and Dejounte put his money where his mouth is so those actions speak louder than these words do to me.
  21. Dwyane Wade-esque move, taking less and being loyal. Let’s not Pat Riley this.
  22. Man….I used to love Dame’s commitment to Portland. I get him wanting to try something different but I hope this isn’t true. It’s one thing to want to move on, and another to try and start leveraging that for what you want.
