  1. It is a true post, but we're supposed to turn a blind eye to the truth until it is absolute. What if the Hawks do pull of a MIRACLE? Then you will be saying "I was so wrong" even though we all will be saying it. lol And the Cavs team is very good. They're great actually. There is something special about this team that will be remembered for all NBA history and we are witnessing that history. When. . . I mean IF we lose then I'll be rooting Cavs to see that history manifest. Lebron will end his career as one of the greatest all time if he keeps this up. Anyways. . . . . . CAVS SUCK. . . GO HAWKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. I agree with most everything written so far in this post, especially Diesel's "we can be better than this!". I'd like to see two things happen: 1) We get a coach that can get the most out of this athletic team by running different offensive sets, motivating his players to play great, and developing our young talent so they aren't stapled to the bench. 2) Make that one (MAYBE 2) big moves to tweak (not change, tweak) our team. I like the comparison to what Cleveland has done. We are being laughed at by the media for having no offense and sometimes no D. Imagine the players we have now being able to play at the height of their games in offensive sets designed for our TEAM's abilities. Imagine having that defensive PG or true C to put our physical make up over the top. We're on the verge of greatness,. . . . . if we only take advantage of it. That means tweaking and coaching.
  3. Sad but true. Even if we get a bunch of ATL fans in the seats and no LeBrouches in the stands, we won't get loud unless we're winning or go on a huge run. Phillips is an awesome venue, but the fans make it an embarrassment to watch on TV. I love my Hawks, but sometimes I hate my Hawk nation. Get live people!!!
  4. I (no lies at all) had a dream last night about the game too. I was watching SportCenter because I slept through the game on accident, and they had two scores displayed. . . . 110-102 Hawks win, and 97-92 Cavs win. They then changed topics, I left for work, then I woke up from the dream. If either of those show up tonight, look for the other to show up later in the series! hahaha
  5. Woody has problems even motivating our vet players. Come on, we didn't even TRY in the last three quarters of game 2! We were zombies just watching our own asses get kicked. Woody is riding the team's record to hold his job, not what he actually does as a coach. Nevermind the record is due to our cast stepping things up. . . . And Phil Jackson is a hall of famer. OF COURSE it would be great to get someone to step in (previous coaching experience or not) that can motivate his players. It would also be nice to get a Michael Jordan/Scottie Pippen on our team. . . or perhaps a Kobe/Shaq. . . .that would guarantee us championships. I get your point though, and I would like a coach who develops and motivates players. That really isn't too much to ask for. . . .
  6. Mental toughness is exactly it! We start the games good against any opponent, but we get shook so easily when they take the lead. No lead changes after the first??? WTF? Attitude reflects leadership so come on Woody!! Also, the "childish laughing and celebrating? It's a bit offensive when you're the team getting embarassed out there, but I have no problems with it. There really is something special about this Cavaliers team and the morale on the bench shows it. I hate it now, but when we look back on history it will show their dominance (IF they beat our Hawks and win it all).
  7. I think this could be good, but watch Marv go off when he gets wherever his next destination would be. It'd be our luck.
  8. It's better to be delusional than to be that fan who gives up before the game begins. . . . . You're probably right, but I'd rather be that ignorant idiot screaming in the bleachers when we're down by 20 points. Hawks fans live in a state of denial! LOL
  9. Kobe is and always will be a whining little punk. He does that crap because he's too cocky to realize he's not supposed to. Damn some Kobe!
  10. When we were hitting, we were right in it. Then we went cold. I'm thinking an offensive scheme that takes it to that little orange thing called THE BUCKET would be so beneficial to our Hawks. Oh to have a coordinator that would realize that. . . . . .
  11. second, third, and fourth this post
  12. AMEN, AMEN, AMEN! It will be a much closer series than CLE fans are thinking. And yes, I firmly believe we stand a legitimate shot in this one.
  13. He's a good coach. He just can't get us consistent, to win on the road, run offensive sets designed for young athletic talent, or make in game adjustments at the appropriate times. . . . Yeah, other than that he's awesome.
  14. Not an error, but you'll hear that it is from every Wade fan for the entire off season. I love how his response was "I'm not that slow". Uh. . . . you messed up by walking too lazily, but your first response is one of those "I'm D-Wade and can do no wrong" responses?? Weak. But we've come to expect that from him. It's sad really.
