  1. I had a chance to check out Edey and he does have a nice post-game and good rebounder but to me it feels like he clogs the line like CC does and he does not have a pick and pop game to him (most of the stuff I seen from him was putbacks and under the rim). These center today can hover around the three-point line and shoot it, do you think he can do that.
  2. But how can this team do that? What trade assets can we give up getting an Offensive Center or another star? Also can you trust this FO to do something like that since we cant trust them?
  3. Yes, I must agree that this is the most important offseason that this team will have, and it will shape everything until 2030. There are three questions that need to be answered before the new season starts. 1. Trae or Murray: We have ample time to see them working with each other and with other players formations and the bottom line is that they do not work well together. Trae needs more defensive and taller players around him while Murray is mostly a 1 in a 2 body. So yeah, someone must go but which one. For me the answer is going to shock everyone here, but I believe that both must go (Unless trade one of them will give you what you need). For Trae, if the FO is not going to get the players that you need him to unlock his true potential, then you can be traded to a team that will do it for him and for Murray, even know that the defense will be better, then we will be lacking in offense. Sure, it will put us in the rebuild category and we don’t have another rebuild in this team but if you can get good players or pick from them then you don’t have to have to start with empty state. 2. Front court need to be replaced (except for Johnson): I am sorry to JJ; I was one of the folks that was hard on him when he was drafted but he has showed that he is going to be a star in this league, and he is going to be one of the cores of this team. But for everyone from the front court, I don’t see any reason why we should keep them. CC has some good games, but he probably needs to move on to OO who has been very disappointing even Hunter who continues to disappear when you need him the most. Right now, I will keep JJ, maybe Bruno or Vit but everyone else should be on the trade block. 3. What would ownership do: Bobby Marks may not be my favorite person but what he says was true “You don’t go into the Luxury tax for been a lottery team”. Must agree with that, they need to be honest about the situation and do what needs to be done. Even if you must trade Young away and it might hurt your bottom line in sales, but the goal should be clear being NBA Champs and putting a product that we can be all proud of while during deep run into the playoffs. At the end of the day, I would vouch for a Retool unless we cannot get the players that we want on this team then rebuild will be the best possibility. Besides if we come out the same team next year then we will just gift the Spurs with a new dynasty because of way this team is, we are just a Play-In/Round 1/Lottery team.
  4. Be in the lottery for the next 10 years...Yeah that will NOT work.
  5. I don't if NO would do that trade but if that is the case, do the Hawks has enough cap space to bring in two centers (one has to come from the draft)
  6. Peoriabird, we already know that your position about Trae and it is understandable. My take about this is that Trae is not perfect but there are not too many players that can produce 25/10 every year and even if we do traded Trae, there is no guarantee that this team will get better without him (even you can use this time that Trae was injured, at that time most of the playoff field has been established and teams that is tanking for that number one pick). To me, unless they get a deal that is going to help this team in the future, I will not pull the trigger on a Trae or Murrary deal.
  7. But that is the beauty about it, the possibility to see if something is going to happen or not. To see if those insiders (not ours btw) is correct or missing the point. That is the reason why lot of sport fans love FA/Trade Deadlines and what not. We might do something or nothing at all, but it is that the reason why we are here to see if is going to happen and analysis the heck out of it.
  8. So it might happen or not.
  9. Yeah, they were fouling like crazy tonight
  10. Maybe, or you can just look at it with us (btw, we did not see you during our winning streak, what happening)
  11. but I think he hurt his hand but they are doing well right now. Just down by 4, they can pull it off in the second half.
  12. I know that everybody is hype up and this team is doing better than the last few weeks but just be honest, can this team beat the C's in a seven-game series? What about the Bucks? Or NY? Right now, we are winning but the question is can we get out of the treadmill that is good enough to get into the play-in (play-offs) but never getting to the second round or ECF. Unless we are okay being a treadmill team, good enough to get in but never getting to the end. If is an opportunity to improve this team, then we should take it that including trading anybody if the price is right.
  13. But he has to do something, that is part of his game. He is not tall and his game is predicated on him getting into the lane and cause havoc, while his long jump shots is to loosen up the lane. I think you are too hard on Trae, I dont know what else he can do, he is playing better defense and trying to win but it is not him, but the type of players we have and the FO that is not getting him what he needs to succeed. If Trae was traded to another team, would you be happy? Besides, you see what happen when Trae was not there when he got injured, just imagine that for a full season and we can't use the lottery because of the Spurs picks. I know that he might get on our nerves with his decision, but he is still true to this team and this city. Besides we cant deal with another tear down and rebuild again (most of us is not spring chickens)
  14. It looks like I did not miss anything too important. The usual suspects complaining about Trae, no defense, trade rumors and request. Another day in Hawksquawk......Yeah! **Oh by the way, if you are tired of seeing the Hawks getting beat all of the time and if you have GamePass, then try out Palworld (Pokemon with Guns), its awesome**
  15. Well, it looks like I am going to be playing Palworld tonight...
  16. So we are going after KAT again. That is good. ***Positivity Beam***
  17. You know that I was joking right. The last few days was crazy and alot of hate so I was going to bring in the "Power of Positivity" for a little bit.
  18. Oh I got some positivity for the outsiders as well. **Live from the Outsiders HQ in Atlanta**
  19. Yeah, I think I will nominate @NBASupes and @Sothron for the positivity box next. Yall two have been so negative lately and If our insiders are negative like that, then there is no hope for this site. Here is some "The New Day" gif to cheer yall up
  20. 8 TO?!?!? Ouch. Its time for the Positivity Box.
  21. With all of this negative energy going around here (I think we all need to take a break from all of this trade talk), I think we all should go to "Positivity Box" for a minute. @TheNorthCydeRises I think you need to go in first. I am Big E cleaning up
