I don't buy it, because the injury wasn't a cumulative thing, it was a sudden thing. It's not like playing center wore down his pec until it finally gave out, he tore his pec as a result of a single play, which could have occurred if he was playing at any position.

That's hyperbole. Ayón is decent. He's fundamentally sound and a better rebounder than Antić. At this stage of his career, Collins is a 15th man at best.

I can't believe so many people on here have mentioned trading Millsap. He is one of the better power forwards in the NBA (easily one of the most underrated), he'll never be a distraction, he has a team friendly contract, and he fits well with our style of play. If anything I'd be looking to extend him next year.

We are still better than 85% of the East. Relax.

With Horford out, Asik seems like the most realistic center target that wouldn't require us to give up Millsap, Korver, or Teague. In my mind, the big question is "how do the Rockets feel about Dennis Schröder?". Do they think he's good enough that they would accept a package of Schröder, Brand, and Jenkins/Cunningham for Asik? I don't think they do.

There's no way to prove that his position had anything to do with his injuries. I really doubt it had that much of an effect, and this could have happened to a PF just as easily as it could a C.
