  1. I understand. But Bogi has really been hurting us on the defensive end lately that it kind of negates what he's bringing us offensively. We need some defenders with respectable jumpers to put next to Trae.
  2. When he gets back, he will. It should also give Kevin and Skylar Mays more playing time in his absence.
  3. Idk, I hope he turns out to be something, but I won't get my hopes up.
  4. You may be right, but I just think that it would be a good thing for them to give Desmond Bane the keys to being the #2 on that team.
  5. I'll go: Why Memphis does this: It's become clear this season that Desmond Bane is the ideal running mate to put next to Ja Morant for now and into the future. The Grizzlies have been on an incredible run this season, mostly without the presence of Dillon Brooks. Bogdan Bogdanovic provides them with an elite shooter with at least 2 more years on his deal that they can add to their team. They will also get a first round pick that they can use to continue adding young talent to their young core, or use as a trade chip in future deals. Also trading Culver frees up more minutes for their young wings like Ziaire Williams, DeAnthony Melton, and John Konchar, etc. Why Atlanta does this: Simply put, the Hawks need someone with a competitive fire that wants to compete on both ends of the floor. Dillon Brooks is that guy. Right now, Dillon is out with an ankle sprain, so we may not feel his impact immediately, but when he is healthy, he's a guy who's known as a disruptor and an irritant on defense, someone that can bring toughness into a locker room, and has also been known to be a really good teammate. Jarrett Culver is added to this deal in order to make the salaries work. You can now trot out a starting lineup when healthy of Trae, Brooks, Hunter, Collins, and Capela. What are some deals you would make?
  6. Nah let's not start this. He didn't want to be here, let's keep it at that.
  7. Stick him in the corner and make him shoot threes. That seems to be the only thing he's been able to do at an NBA Level so far in his career.
  8. Like it or not, I think the best option is to wait and see how this team performs over the next couple of games so we can decide what direction we need to move towards.
  9. They know this, and they ultimately believe that they can convince Ben to come back because of this. They'll wait until draft night for more targets to become available if he doesn't.
  10. That's exactly why we need to move on from Philly. They aren't going to budge from their asking price.
  11. That's exactly my point. If Philly isn't going to take back Fox, what makes us believe we can get Simmons for something less than that? We need to move on to another target. It's not worth the asking price from Philly.
  12. This is for the people that think Bogi + Gallo is going to get a deal done for Ben. THEY WANT A STAR.
  13. This is for people who think Bogi + Gallo is gonna get a deal done for Ben. THEY WANT A STAR.
  14. Not really expecting much from him.
  15. If we don’t turn this season around, I highly doubt we’d be the first choice of anyone on the buyout market.
  16. At the end of the day, Cam didn’t want to play with us. Wish him well in the future and move on. It is what it is.
  17. If Simmons could be moved for role players, it would’ve already happened by now. And Morey is willing to let this extend until Draft Night according to Woj.
  18. Philly is not moving Simmons unless they get a star. This has been reported or stated on record by Morey himself. I just don’t want people in here to get their hopes up.
  19. Cam should make a goodbye post to Atlanta. He had a lot of fans down here who were rooting for him through all the ups and downs.
  20. I expect Dre to get his starting role back. They may have brought him off the bench because a minutes restriction or for him to get into a rhythm better.
  21. Nothing because that's one less guy in his way.
  22. I'm going to be real with you, any GM who would make that trade is a dumbass. You're going to be locking up ~$102 million per season into 3 players leaving you with a little avenue to improve the roster around them. Harris isn't that guy to justify doing that.
