  1. Give Jackson those last 2 downs to take it in and we win. Smitty should have known that the Saints would be looking for Gonzo on those last 2 downs.
  2. Great game, another goal line stand by N.O. vs. us. I know Jackson is up there in age, but you gotta get him the ball more than 11 times. Julio's fumble and Jackson's dropped pass killed us. Really impressed with Alford and Trufant, they're gonna be GOOD for years to come. Lamar Holmes held up better than I thought. I'm tired of Mike Smith man, I swear he calls some of the dumbest plays in the most critical times in the game. GET RID OF MIKE SMITH
  3. Pero and Ayón are killing it right now on their respective teams, Macedonia and Mexico.
  4. I love the TEAM concept of this new management. We haven't had that since the 90's really with Smitty, Blaylock, Laettner, and Deke.
  5. Whoever Kobe Bryant vouches for I want him on our team.
  6. Took me a minute to figure that out. I was like where the f*ck is this!
  7. Atleast he's not smoking oxycontin and crack cocaine like good ole Lamar Odom
  8. If he and Danny weren't so close, I would say yes, they fire him.
  9. Happy Birthday brother! I got love for all the old farts of Hawksquawk, including Dolfan, who's 92 years old.
  10. Agreed, if you have the funds to take a cab if you even feel the least bit tipsy, do it. Somebody with Mike's stature and financial success should of known better.
  11. This is very bad. Horrible first impression. But I don't understand why it had to happen here and not in San Antonio. Is the pressure of head coach ALREADY getting to him maybe? Something's very fishy
  12. I'll tell you what though he better whip this team into shape and get control of his troops fast. He better not let this bring him down in anyway, go back to work and put 110% in to show the players you mean business.
  13. His blood alcohol level was well below a few hours after the arrest. It doesn't take "just a few hours" to get your levels down that much. This will be dropped in court. I think this will all blow over fast although I'm super surprised this happened. Something smells fishy here though, Bud looks like he always has red eyes. Obviously if this never happened 19 years in San Antonio but it happens here within months? Cops here are corrupted more so than a lot of other states. I just don't know what to think.
  14. It's up to my man Zack Wheeler to lead them the rest of the way.
  15. Surprised Ivey is still even getting workouts with teams
  16. We've picked up Freddy Garcia I think he has enough left in the tank for the rest of the year. and Maholm and is back even though he's struggled mightly. I just hope J-Hey can keep that bat hot for the playoffs. These past 2 games vs. St Louis really shows you how much we need him.
  17. Let's stay with the Spurs way of doing things. They've won championships if you're gonna base your franchise off any other why not San Antonio? Draft and scout really well and actually develope your talent. Make solid pick ups in the offseason year to year and even if you don't make a splash per say you know you have talent developing at a steady rate already on your team. Need alotta luck though too as said above.
  18. He's played well in past 2 games for Macedonia
  19. I mean he obviously thinks he already a star, and that also brings up his hunger to get better. He already thinks he's elite so why change up his game? Just practice shooting jumpers in the offseason I guess?
  20. I love Smoove as I'm sure most of us "haters" do, he just drove me up the wall more than I could stand.
  21. I played on Zack Wheeler's baseball team from when we were 12 up until we were 15 years of age. The man has always had a arm but I never thought he'd go this far. Pick right before Mike Minor in 2009 and traded straight up for Carlos Beltran, Zack has finally broke into the bigs and is a starting pitcher for the New York Mets. I'm thinking most of you Braves fans have already gotten a tatse of him? Why? He's 3-0 with an ERA under 3 against the Braves ALREADY this year. It just amazes me how far he's gone since we played together. Wow. Has anybody gotten to watch this kid yet? Him and Matt Harvey are going to give the Mets a potent 1-2 punch for the future.
  22. Man what a huge blow, thank God we're 16 games up.
  23. jrok23 maybe you're a youngster but you gotta have some kind of substance to your posts my man. Just posting up a random thought wastes space on the board. I posted dumb shit all the time on here 10 years ago. It just annoys people.
  24. Have to say I'm even more happy now reading the kind of shit he said. If he SOMEHOW gets rid of those jump shots he can be that star player he presumes himself to be. Unfortunately for him after almost 10 years in the league he still can't figure that out. I think we will see much of the same in Detroit, but now regression becomes a thwart.
