With the exception of Jay Walker, all those guys are a joke. They should turn it into Celtictree hoops with the way they love Horf. Don't get me wrong I liked Horf, but he's gone get over it. These guys think the Celtics are going to be a 2 seed. I'd be shocked to see that be the case. I begin to wonder how these guys are qualified to be on that site. We watch and know as much about basketball as they do. They talk out of both sides of their mouth. All last year trust in Bud and believe in the system. Then this year we lose Horf and replace him with Dwight at worse and even move. But according to them we are going to be worse. Also, what happen to believe in Bud? They believed in him with Horf just not now. Ridiculous. Not to mention our bench is better. I read this article and these guys make me sick. They think they are know it all's and in fact they know as much as us. Lord forbid you contradict them, you might get banned. The way I read the article, the Lakers weren't an option when they were talking to the Hawks. They didn't discuss the Lakers until they ruled out the teams mentioned in the article.

I'm not gullible and I don't believe everything I read or hear. However, why would this person lie? It's 20 years after the fact and the Hawks are a very small part of the story. So really no need to lie. As a life long Brave and Hawk fan since 82, yes Kasten is that dumb.

In the article below look at the possible teams Shaq was thinking about going to in the summer of 96. The Hawks were a real good possibility instead of the Lakers. However, Stan Kasten nixed the deal because he didn't want to get rid of Mookie or Lattener. Unbelievable, Kasten is stupid and should have been fired on the spot. This one hurts very deeply for me. Still upset and heart broken. Wrote him a letter at age 10, had my dad take me by his house when i was older (when i visited my dad in Minnesota) and listen to all his albums so many times. His music got me through tough times and gave me some of the best memories. Never had a chance to see him and now never will. I thought he would be around as long as me. I've been wearing purple all weekend. I just want to hear him belt out the he's and who's at the end of purple rain one more time. I get choked up thinking about. Watch the end of purple rain one more time for him and if you don't get emotional from it. You don't have a heart or a soul. I miss you, heaven just got a once in a lifetime talent.
