I feel JT played some of his best basketball with Lo and he might play well with Sheed...But that doesn't mean the team will win games. Could Kobe/Sheed work? They have WAY different personalities so I dunno....

These guy has a long way to go to make his offensive game even respectable...I jsut think you guys are jumping the gun on his value.

That team would win 20 games. Bad deal..That team would need more talent at the three spot and probably center spot.

My problem isn't with him saying it. My problem is that when he was here he said" I want to be here..I want to win here" blah blah blah Then he says something different now. I understand how he feels. Remember when the fans booed him for beating the Wizards? That probably didn't feel all that good. But it's the timing in which he said it in.

Reef is a fake person. He tries to act like a good guy, but his lack of professionalism shows he's just like the rest of the players. Say what you want is fine...But don't act one way here and say something different when you get traded like a yellow bellied coward.

It isn't the fans fault that the NBA is really boring. I know the Hawks have been bad and all...But the fact that nearly every game around the league is now a snooze fest how can you not blame the fans for not even showing up to see most of the "top stars".

This Howard guy is probably another 6'11 shooting guard. Is that really what you want to try and build your team around?

Difference is the Kings are still winning with Peja leading them and Sheed hasn't lead a team to jack crap.

I brought it up once....It seems that JT makes friends with Dog and everybody besides Reef. Last year I think it was noticeable how much JT fed Dog instead of Reef... I don't think they had a solid relationship.

Also, I think Dallas is pretty bad on the road. Not that impressive. If the team even had a decent record it could be taken more seriousally. This is why the Hawks have better second half records than first half records. In the second half of the years teams look at the hawks and say "cupcake team" and they don't bring their best.

Like those whole 88PPG the hawks are scoring now? JT/Jax/ Reef couldn't provide enough scoring so what makes you think JT/jax/Sheed can score enough? But the team probably isnt going to win anyways...but don't you think Boris can get enough minutes backing up 3 positions? I mean, JT plays 35MPG...15MPG there...If Person plays 29MPG there is plenty of minutes to play there...Diaw will be court most of the time backing up 3 spots.

Please. The only reason the Hawks beat Dallas in the first place was because teams don't take the Hawks seriousally. Most Hawk games are emotionless snoozefest. When the Hawks play an team that really comes to play the Hawks lose. "As for Boris' offensive game, it seems to be coming around. He has stroked a few long range jumpers lately and his shot looks silky smooth and effortless. If he keeps working on it, there is no reason he can't be a 12-14 ppg guy who sets up his teammates, handles the rock, rebounds and plays great D." he has no moves...If he's such a good shooter or even decent one why does he shoot 40%fg and 56% at the free throw line. He's not that good...Not bad at his salary....but LASCAR acts like Diaw has somekind of great future or something. He's a role player and nothing more and he doesn't have the skills to be more than that.

We are going to lose anyway. It's just dissappointing that we got nothing out of this deal long term. Atleast it appears that way right now. Honestly, can get get a SNT for Wallace since some teams feel they can get him through Free Agency in the offseason.

JT Kobe Diaw Sheed Nazr In the east what do you think that teams record would be? Can it play enough defense? Rebound enough? Athletic enough?

Well Reef will get the chance to prove everyone(including myself) wrong about producing on a playoff team. Naturally I expect his numbers will drop to about 18PPG 8RPG..But lets see how he plays in Portland. It will be interesting to see what JT/Person/Jackson/Sheed/Nazr can do..... I suspect Boris will get backup minutes at PG/SG/SF so he should still get plenty of playing time.

Boris Diaw is a role player. He's not "untradeable" at all because he isn't that good at all. Good defense? He couldnt even defend Van Horn. He's a good rebounder and a decent passer, but that doesn't make a player "untradeable" He doesn't have the skills offensive....He doesn't have any moves, he's not extremely quick, he has no postup game, no jumpshot. He'll be a 8PPG 5RPG 3APG role player that you don't mind having around. But he's not even close to being untradeable.

And you don't know what Billy Knights real adjenda is. Maybe he thinks this team will do better than when Theo/Reef was here. What did Billy Knight say? He says that he could do without the picks because he figures the cap space can get the young players....That doesn't sound like a Gm that expects to lose and get a better pick does it? Perhaps he thinks the team can make abit of run and be more attractive to FA's in the offseason.

IF(and it's a big IF) Sheed can produce 19PPG 9RPG we might be better than we would have been if we kept the same team. The way I figure it is that Person should get about 29MPG and he'll probably shoot about 45%fg 41%3pt and average about 11PPG....His outside shooting is something the team hasn't had in a long time. Nazr playing 29MPG also is about a 11PPG 9RPG.....Statwise the two of them together actually could outproduce Reef/Theo since Theo doesn't produce much other than blocked shots. This could be a better shooting team than the team has had in a while.

Where do you guys get Sheed is worth 10 million? He's worth 5 maybe...17PPG 6RPG is not 10million production. Hell, Cliff Robinson probably averages close to that with Golden State.

The only way the team has a shot at the title is if Shaq/Duncan/KG are on the roster. Tmac/Kobe are good players, but they will NOT win you a title.

The Bobcats will be a good team before the Hawks will. I highly doubt their mangement will make moves so boneheaded. Next year the hawks will have: JT Q Richardson Boris Howard or Hendu Nazr What a team!=)

Doc and Kobe would have about the same sucess as Doc and McGrady...Not very much most likely.

Sheed has never averaged more than 8RPG in a season in his career and there is no reason to believe he'll do it now. Sheed can shoot? That's not what his 34% three point shooting says. And his fg% has quickly declined. He isn't even that good of a player.

If a lousy 16/6 is a 6'11 PF's prime then I say YIKES!
