  1. I'd be all for Dinwiddie. Wonder what it'd take to get him.
  2. Tbh if Milwaukee doesn't make the finals they should still fire Bud after the ECF is over... - While the Hawks gave Philly plenty of trouble during the recent bad years, that is much less the case with Milwaukee. - Embiid's stamina issues are obvious and even if Philly wins, he'll have played a difficult 7 game series where he had to play a lot. (I'm in full agreement, the deal with him isn't the knee even if he is maybe not 100%, it's his stamina instead) It's really a case where they should be the 14/15 Cavs where they have an easier time now. But I won't believe it until I see it.
  3. Welp, I think the Nets losing Game 7 at home seals the Hawks fate for tomorrow, unless this is going to be a universe where the home team loses Game 7 in both cases in 2021. I ended up getting who I wanted to win in the end to win with this series but HOLY **** was that ugly though.
  4. Not sure this is the thread for it but @TheNorthCydeRises's suggestion to have Hawks vs Grizzlies as a National TV game next season once is a very good one. That game early in the year was pretty fun, this matchup would have potential. I really would not be surprised if Hawks vs Knicks was an early season national TV game next season as well. If we are so lucky to go to the ECF, I don't think I'd really care about who the matchup is but I get the feeling that if the Nets win, the Hawks are winning tomorrow...
  5. I'm guessing that Bogi will be out, which like it or not, is pretty problematic even when he is "not" going well. At least during the regular season, one of the reasons why playing Trae/Bogi/Kevin together at once was so effective was because you couldn't just key on Trae. I would start Gallo if this is indeed the case. Can't start Solo again. Gonna need a good Collins game and likely another flashback game for Lou too.
  6. Winnable game and you really lose it on FTs... Does feel like it's that Hawks vs Pacers series or that series in 1986. But then again you arguably have the Doc Rivers curse on the other side...
  7. To get not one, but two Doc Rivers' specials is great. Even though I am now forbidden from watching Hawks games for the time being (I had most of the last two second halves off, when they were performing better), it makes my playoffs that those happened no matter what. But the Hawks deserve all the credit for not laying down and forcing them. Any other Atlanta team folds. This team is different.
  8. LMAO a Doc Rivers team does it again. That's twice in a row. It appears that I will not be able to watch game 6. But a good playoff comeback is always funny.
  9. At the very least, do not put Capela back in this game. Go with Gallo if you sit OO. I refuse to turn this back on either way. I did have it on (was just quiet) in the first half but I really haven't in the second.
  10. That's a mind boggling loss by the Bucks.
  11. Whoever wins tomorrow likely wins the series no matter what, so hopefully the Hawks can shoot the way they can shoot and get another on the road. On another note, I wonder if the Clippers 2nd round curse is really the Doc Rivers curse. He does have a ring, but even that playoff performance wasn't really that impressive. It wouldn't surprise me if you saw the Sixers win tomorrow and the series go the distance because...Doc Rivers. But maybe we'll see the Hawks put up a better shooting night and win tomorrow and in game 6.
  12. I wonder if Trae has been hurt for longer than today where he was wearing something on his shoulder.
  13. If Collins is given a max offer sheet, I'd really have to lean toward working out a sign and trade. The problem is, I'm not sure what I'd do after that, as I am going to remain stubborn and say that Hunter is not going to start at PF for this team.
  14. 7 years after the 2014 debacle and you are getting...another 2014 debacle. Love it!
  15. What will most interest me in 2021-2022 is if Bogi continues to play the way he's been playing since he knocked off the rust. If he does, his signing was a bargain and may have been just about as good as picking up Joe Johnson was in the old days.
  16. I think you have to either sign him with the possibility of looking to move him within the year or after the year or sign and trade him this offseason. Having said that, I don't know what I'd do at PF, I just know that we've seen Hunter at PF fail for the Hawks in the past, so I'm not trying it again.
  17. Yeah, Collins isn't that skilled of a big. He can shoot and is good in the PNR but is limited. I wouldn't be too upset about him leaving. Now Hunter at PF in an NBA game outside of on occasion when you go small based off what I've seen in the past is a complete and thorough NON-STARTER for me. I'm not sure what I'd do as I haven't quite thought about it but this ain't it either. I think it's more likely that he develops than Reddish, but since Reddish has been out forever and the team did much better with McMillan I'll give him a mulligan.
  18. Hunter at PF brought up again. Once again, I can't. The next time I see the Hawks play well with Hunter at PF will be the first time, as that hasn't happened in an NBA game so far.
  19. Nah it's a wrap... Likely a douchebag sweep incoming, like what the Jazz did to Memphis... Just happy that Trae provided another moment back on Sunday, because I think that was the last moment.
  20. Bogi can be used as a ballhandler and even as a PG. Gallo however, he might have brought it up but the assist totals doesn't say he can do that.
  21. Feels like the kind of game where you likely need Trae or Bogi to have a moment that they're capable of having again late. But I am a weenie so I might try to keep away anyway as best as I can.
  22. Very likely a L if there's no bench run in the 2nd quarter.
  23. On a more serious note, hopefully his knee doesn't become a chronic thing, because man, he was breaking out to start this year.
