DJ is our best asset to swing a trade for a star that fits better on the team. Agree we should keep DJ with most of these trash trades that have been offered, but if there's a DJ for KAT or DJ for multiple role players/starters that fit (Murphy, Herb) , I think it helps the Hawks to go for those.

Not necessarily, coach and the FO could value showing off other players now before they get traded over giving rooks playing time. Bufkin, Mo G, Lundy will get their chances, we just gotta think is that the highest prio right now with where the hawks are at? Feels like the teams highest prio is not winning anymore, but more showing the value our vets have so we can extract more resources from whatever team we trade them to, and THEN the priorities might shift to giving rooks PT. We have key pieces of the puzzle, and motivation to fill out the rest. What proof do you have that Trae's off-ball tendencies have any effect on the locker room? Again, no player in the world just runs around randomly - off-ball offense takes a team effort starting with the coach implementing those plays which we HAVE seen a lot more of since Quin's tenure began.
