I really prefer Teague for this particular team, but what's done is done. I'm still worried though since this season depends on his performance. Dennis' time as a starter when Teague was out with the ankle left a LOT to be desired. But that was last season. He's coming into this season knowing he's the guy, so I hope that helps him.

He was ruined by the time Bud got here. There was absolutely zero player development before.

This is between the ASG and Ferry as it should be. It's loosely Hawks related, but I'm glad it doesn't really involve the Hawks. This is why I posted it was best to cut ties with all parties involved and start fresh.

I love Sap but he's not untradeable. He's a 2 way PF that can also stretch the floor which is VERY valuable, but I don't want the Hawks to tie up all of their $$$ in 'good' players on the wrong side of 30. I love Sap's lunch pail work ethic, but if this season ends like the last 2, you have to keep your options open. No more sacred cows.

They also never talk about how soft Horford played the last 2 seasons. It's like the fans are the only people who know that Horf mailed it in.

The Falcons need Neal's physicality. I have no issue with him setting the tone early.

Smoove was mishandled period. He was raw as a Rookie and just wasn't developed right. He had the talent, athleticism, and desire but he really needed better guidance. Thank goodness the Hawks actually develop players now. I hate to see squandered talent.

Frankly, the Hawks' on court leadership was soft which made the team soft. A change had to be made.

Yeah but they literally tell you, 'anything you say can and WILL be used against you in a court of law'. It just seems like the unnecessary self incrimination could have been avoided if he just kept his mouth shut until his lawyer was present. That made his lawyer's job harder.

How can Mike plead not guilty in court when the police already have him confessing on video that everything was his? Won't the prosecution just present the tape as evidence???

That may not be entirely true. I think that Westbrook is trying to help the team by going 100mph 100% of the time. He only has one speed, and that's all out. He just needs to pick his spots better.
