Assuming our 1st round pick is in the 16-19 range and our 2nd is in the 36-39 range, I would like to do the following......

1st rounder:

Inside players-

1.Nick Collison (We need to become a tougher team both mentally and physically)

2.David West

Swing players-

1.Josh Howard (Good defender, extremely aggressive)

2.Reece Gaines

2nd rounder:

Backcourt players-

1.Dahntay Jones (I'd like to become a more D-oriented team)

The rest- Price/Hatten/Bell/Blake/Bogans

Inside players-

1.Chris Marcus (Why not take a chance on him in the 2nd?)

2.Ron Slay

Would love to come out of the draft with Collison and Jones.

I like West. I think if he stays motivated he can be Barkley all over again. The kid can score and rebound.

Do you think Danhtay Jones will last until the second? I think in draft workouts he will shoot up like the SG from Oregon last year. Freddie Jones I think. Noone thought he would go in the first but Indy took him at like 16 or 17. Physical specimen like him always rise up the charts when the draft comes around.
