Actually, Reece Gaines is a player that fits that category. He can shoot the ball.

Bernard King Jr. and Marquis Daniels are ball handing shooting guards with range.

I've liked Rice for some time. Since HS McDonalds ALLAmerican. I felt he was better than Miles because of his shooting.

BUT,

He seems more like a SF than SG. He's like DJ. About 6'10 and shoots the three more than baseline. Dj is more athletic (or was) and I don't know if we need two guys of this nature. I think what we need is the next Ray Allen or the next Wesley Persons. We need a guy with a game that if you don't cover him, he will go for 40. If you do cover him, he can handle the ball and pass. Our answer may be in the NBADL. I think that we would trust one of them to start before a rookie.
