The Atlanta Hawks were first team to call unrestricted free agent Kent Bazemore after midnight, per source. ATL really likes the Lakers FA.

He was the Summer League MVP last year, and showed glimpses of his potential while playing in LA. Hope we sign him. He may very well be the steal of free agency.

What I think is that I clearly don't pay as much attention to the NBA anymore.  I've never even heard of Kent Bazemore.  I had to google him to make sure this thread wasn't some kind of pop culture reference that I was missing.

His shot mechanics kill me, but he is a young guy whose on the rise it seems. For cheap, I see no reason why he can't bolster the bench.

Yes! I'll take Bazemore. Him, Payne and Mike Scott would keep our locker room nice and loose during the season. Great talent and locker room guy.From what I hear GS would keep him on the bench just for his energy.

I just see a little Russ West in him, but maybe that's just because he seems so athletic. He averaged

during his Lakers stint this season. I wouldn't mind him being either a 6man or starting shooting guard on a small waged contract.

When I see guys catapult their shots, I cringe. Hey if they go in, that's great, but I don't have to enjoy looking at it.

Yeah I dunno why we'd make this guy a priority. Doesn't look like anything special really and seems like a heavy ISO type of player.
