Kidding aside, that World roster's gonna kick the US' butt.

Yeah, I saw a Bleacher Report predicting the teams. The World froncourt is downright ridiculous with Olynk, Giannis, Gobert, Adams, and Mirotic. With Dennis and Wiggins in the backcourt, good luck with that one.

The Good Guys are gonna be recruiting like Nick Saban all through the All star weekend. Love it.

They'll probably keep the votes (by NBA assistant coaches) top-secret.

 

The starters will probably be revealed by the respective coaching staffs during ASG week. If Exum starts ahead of Dennis I'm gonna be like, "Bö!" lol

 

But since Atlanta's Atkinson will get to coach up the World team I don't think that'll be a problem.

Well deserved. But what is this? Is it along the lines of the ASG?

 

Yes, it will be played on the Friday before the ASG. It's a reworking of the old "Rookies vs. Sophomores" game, which thankfully won't have the "Team Barkley vs. Team Webber" pick-your-team format of recent years. The league is taking a page from the NHL's occasional ASG format, and pooling the best first and second-year players along the lines of USA-born players versus everybody else.
