if you watched an sec college basketball game outside of Kentucky and Texas A&M, you'd understand why Syracuse got in. There was a reason for them getting in, there was about three close to the bubble teams in the SEC but all three of them played horrendous basketball. Like delete the footage bad basketball.

Little late but the above is the truth.

Not sure anyone put up worse results down the stretch than Cuse among the bubble teams.

Last 6 games:

loss at UL

loss at home to Pitt

win at home NC State

loss at UNC

loss at FSU

Season on the line?

loss to Pitt in ACC tourney

Teams snubbed weren't so much in the SEC as a team like Saint Mary's 27-5 (RPI 37, swept Gonzaga, 6-3 versus top 100 RPI).

Watching a team like Michigan (4-12 versus top 100 RPI) or Syracuse (72 RPI) had to be tough for them to swallow.

Give Syracuse credit, though, their legend of a coach got shown some respect and he made good on it in the tourney

Saint Mary's should've got in, but if they were looking at power 5 only they were correct by not taking more than three SEC teams and likely should have only taken two. Tulsa was another team that got in that didn't make much sense.

Agreed on Tulsa.  Nobody was beating a loud drum for the SEC when you look at all the snub coverage.

I never watch SEC basketball.  It makes my eyes bleed.

Is there a single bad loss in there? FSU maybe since they didn't make the tourney. But Pitt made the tourney and was a tough out for Wisconsin, UNC looks to be the favorite, and Louisville is the best program in the state of Kentucky. Doesn't seem that bad to me.

The respect was that the committee disregarded the games in which the crook was suspended for.  Further worsening their resume if actually taken into account.
