They didn't get a sign and trade for Horford..... They didn't keep him. They don't have enough cap space to really improve the team.

Now, Sap knows that the Hawks have been trying to trade him.... They have a head case in Howard and arrogant and reckless young PG. 

This team will not be enough to win a lot of games and not bad enough to get a great draft pick.

Furthermore, they have sorry ass Bazemore signed to a big fat contract.

Hawks fans are weird. First it's Al isn't worth the max and 5 years, now it's why didn't he take what we offered. The GM sucks for not offering him a full 5yr max...make up your minds people.

Gotta have a partner for a sign and trade...Sap knows the NBA is a business.. This team will be just as good last year imo.. Baze isnt overpaid considering what was handed out. Thank you. Go Hawks...

They saying on NBA TV that Al was miffed from the start that ATL didn't offer him the full max amount. Said he considered himself a max player and took that as an insult. The contract Boston is paying him averages $28.25m per season. The final one we apparently offered averaged #27.2m. I don't know how true it is, but it seems the feeling disrespected angle might be true. If so, booo on BudCox.

It's funny, all I have done is bash Al since the playoffs and yet I'm mad he's gone now. Oh well, it'll be interesting to see how the rest of the team fills out.
