Art exhibition near Louisville, KY

Hey all,

I don't know how many visual art fans there are on here, but I wanted to share an exhibition that I curated with you.

The show is called #BlackArtMatters and will be shown where I work, the Carnegie Center for Art and History in New Albany, IN  (right across the Ohio River from Louisville, KY).

Included in the show is Atlanta's own Fahamu Pecou, as well as Natasha Giles, a painting professor at Georgia Gwinnett College.

If you find yourself in the area, I hope you can stop by and check it out. It will be on view thru April 8th.  It's the first show I've curated on my own since I started working here nearly 2 years ago, and it's creating a lot of chatter...I'm pretty excited about it.

Here is the Facebook event page on the show:  https://www.facebook.com/events/553043041560168/?ti=cl

And you can find more about the Carnegie Center at http://www.carnegiecenter.org

I'd like to encourage any of you in ATL to check out Fahamu's work if you get a chance. So talented and he's really blowing up nationally and internationally. I'm really excited about sharing his work here.

Peace!
