Hi @Gray Mule,

Just checking in to see how you and the family are doing.

Considering the fact that the love of my life, after 56 years, went from

being very active only a few months ago to passing away March 27,

everyone seems to be holding up well.

Swift moving cancer wiped her out.  Naturally, the entire extended

family misses her terribly bad, none more than me.

Prayers and the love of so many sustains us all and is much appreciated.

Thanks so much for caring.

Hey, Gray! You  certainly sound like you helped her live a really long and beautiful life. I'm thinking she is proud of you, as she certainly couldn't have had a better husband.

A real struggle for the entire family.  Still cry a lot.. Mother's day - terrible.

Having a strong faith and a loving church, we continue - But, it's hard.

Having children, grand children and great grand children close by helps

with my sanity.

Knowing my Hawksquawk family cares makes life a little easier.  Again,

That's tough.  It's been a long time since I spent Mother's Day with my Mom since she lives out of the country.  I did get to spend this past one with her although my father's passing (May 1st) was the reason I was there at this time of year.

I'm certainly not looking forward to Father's Day this year.
