Yes sir! Good point. I guess a bunch of early games have rooks motivated. Our next guy might be facing Bamba and Orlando because he really wanted to be a Hawk or at least it seemed it he just wanted more $ as the 3rd pick vs 6th to the Magic. He wanted to be our Mutombo.

Yes.  He does.  His BPM is now up to 1.5 on the year, and he is contributing to his team's 5-2 record.

If he maintains it, yes.  I suspect some regression is in order for him, but I did have him as my 4th best player in the draft.

If we can keep our turnovers to at least 'respectable', I don't think the defensive metrics would look as bad.  Turn the ball over, there is no chance to set up to play defense.
