That said, I agree, I'll rather what we already got and 170 million or anywhere close for him, E-Z Pass Agreed. The guy is the same player he was as a Fr at UConn .. only more expensive. Neggst. Weird thing is he's actually very high on the all-time reboard list already. Surprising he has minimal impact on winning. 24 minutes ago, NBASupes said: I doubt they are interested in trading a lightly protected 1st as a rebuilding team they are but they are right. This is an ideal trade partner Wake us up when CHA does something, anything that makes sense though.
Moderators Popular Post AHF Posted September 26, 2019 Moderators Popular Post Report Share Posted September 26, 2019 Brown - Low interest on my part. Looks to be overpriced and not a clear upgrade over any of our 3 wings unless he really steps up. Batum - This would be all about the pick for us because I would not be eager to add another wing / undersized PF to our rotation. I'd rather have the cap space next year. But for a nice enough pick, we can talk. Pascal - This is a lot more interesting. Eager to see what he does as the #1 guy this year. I expect he won't see a big step-up on offense but should remain an excellent young player with the ability to hit a jumper and play high level defense. I could see us wanting someone like this as part of our big man rotation. Drummon - Doesn't seem to fit what we want from our big men. Feels like a Dwight Howard move where he would put up nice numbers but not really fit or help the team meaningfully. I'd only look at this if LP wanted it.

Depends on price point and the development of Brown, Cam, Hunter and Huerter. He would have to be a significant upgrade and would have to show he is much better than what he has been to date. Only so many minutes to go around and Brown has been too mediocre.

He and Dwight are the high measurable/ low impact brothers. Poor passing and FT shooting neuters their offensive rebounding so much. Jordan’s total ineptitude as an owner and the Cavs’ (Griffin’s?) decision to draft Anthony Bennett #1 are the most leniently criticized debacles in NBA history IMO. Both deserve a book they’re so epically tragic, yet they both get swept under the rug, in an age of information and opinion overload no less. I'll say this about Dwhine though, he wasn't always a player who didn't impact winning. He became that after getting hurt. Drummond has always been that. At least Howard can say he helped lead a team to the Finals. Agree on Ant. Bennett and the HorCats' run. I don't think Jordan is a bad owner, per se. He's certainly made horrid GM hires including Kupchak who's the most overrated GM in the history of Earth itself. If anyone disagrees, I challenge them to find any good decision he made in the absence of Jerry West. G'head, I'll wait.

He definitely fits the "bad owner" for me. The main two things an owner does are set budget and hire GMs, and he has historically been cheap with the budget and chosen bad GMs.
TheFuzz
I'd absolutely max Siakam and move Collins to C, I think he's an excellent fit for our roster. Don't get me too excited though. Man we'd look nice with him on our squad

Well sooooooorry, I was invested in a wildcard race over the past week to spare the time for early in the season football.... I got time now . High5
We have 3 wings on rookie deals that could all end up near or even above Brown's level. We'll see where we're at after the season, but at this point it doesn't make any sense to spend big money on him.

I might be paraphrasing but I'm pretty sure that's completely accurate.
