This games just shows you that most players regardless of their physical gifts can play defense

One thing in this game vs last game....you can hear the players talking on defense. So Pierce was right regarding 1st preseason game - no scouting of opponent, just roll the ball out and play.

John has a hip injury, was probably to play - probably should have sat out. Even basic stuff he's struggling with.

Hawks have 6 returning players, it'll take some time to gel.

While Trae played a heck of a 2nd QT and defensive game in general, he didn't control the pace in this game and was extremely TO prone. I was impressed with the rookies. All of them. I was impressed with Parker. Not a bad night but we gotta figure out how to limit the turnovers.

I don't think so but I see him behind Bruno to start the regular season off. Len is the obvious starter.
