He can be fine now too being utilized like he was last year.  He is a role player / minus starter - plus reserve.  Ervin Johnson was a starter for roughly half his career and a reserve for the other half.  They aren't that far apart it is just that in this era you can't hide a guy like you could back then.

It's a long, long week.  Pre season is past.  Game #1 is next Thursday.  Busy moving players to the G League team.  Injured, sick players hoping to be healed up before opening day.

Film to go over and grade out.  "How did I do?"  Now, the Hawks actually plan for the opponent they will be meeting every game for the remainder of the season.  Rookies that have been fed small helpings of NBA life in the pre season will now face the full meal. 

Missed free throws!  One week to solve this problem.  Close games are won or lost at the foul line.  Hit them and win or miss them and - -  Too many misses and you could find yourself lonely, way down on the end of the bench.

One thing for sure, Lloyd and his crew have enough problems to keep them busy for the next week.
