Luka's starting to take a lot of heat.  He's just 21 years old, but the backlash for the media and his stans making him out to be the best player in ever will cause every small mistake to be overblown. 

Last night, he was very hesitant to take threes, which he should be with his putrid three point percentage.  However, he was a beast getting to the basket and finishing around the rim.  That should be his bread and butter, but he tends to shy away from it in late game situations. I'm not sure if that's a fitness thing or what.  I know before Mikal Bridges got his fourth foul he was locking Luka up.   

It'll be interesting to see how Luka holds up against the Clippers.

Tell me, what other GM is ALWAYS getting quoted in stories and ALWAYS having little articles and crap written about him?  A year or two from now, when Zion is still on a minutes restriction and the Peli'Can'ts are still floundering and on the verge of doing the right thing and moving the team to Seattle, folks will finally start to see him for the media-craving little turd that he is.

Also also, anyone notice the 'Zards are totally mailin' this thing in?  They've fallen behind CHA record-wise.  So the Hor'Cats didn't have to do a thing but sit on their fat tails and they passed the 'Zards?  And they're not developing anybody 'cause 99% of the roster is dudes that won't likely be there.  Hachimura is lookin' like he's on track to being a bust on a 3-4 year development cycle at best.  Totally a waste of a spot.

Eggsactly.  If we're being honest, the only thing his "style of play" leads to is injuries.  The wins have come from shrewd roster construction.  While we had Jones/Fernando bum-fumblin' around at the C, the Grizzlies had a  walking double-double monster.  While we had Allen Cra(p)bbe and Evan Turn(coat) out there imploding our roster, the Grizzlies had roleplayers like Kyle Anderson, Gorgui Dieng, and Tolliver out there actually trying.

Hope folks keep this in mind also when they overrate Brandon Clarke.  Super sub, good roleplayer.  Would love to have him.  But pump the brakes on suggesting he's not at or near his ceiling as a player.

You were in on this dude due to the Cali connection.  I thought Culver would be better.  He and Kabengele are the weak links of your quartet so far.

My point on Clarke is that this is the best we'll see of him.  He's good but other folks are claiming he'll develop into a markedly different/better player.  I doubt that.

I don’t know if it’s the best we will see of him. I think he can get about 10-20% better overall but he came in knowing what he knows how to do and that’s work hard and hustle. He has improved his shot a lot in a short span so I wouldn’t put anything past him but I agree that he’s not going to morph in Giannis or anything. Those people that say that are battling Jamal on Realgm as we speak. Jambrad is developing an ulcer having to deal with nimrods like them. ... oh and crazy Spud. Lol. I try to come in every once in a while on Jam. You know, run across his lawn naked and yell DOUMBAYOU MY LORDDDDD DOUMBAYOOOOOOOOO.. you know, flash the fcker!

I'm so sick and fkng tired of hearing about how great (not good, great) Morant is and how terrible his teammates are (supposedly).  Folks act like he's freaking Russell Westbrook combined with Scottie Pippen on defense.  Do these clowns not realize he's as bad as Trae on defense too?  But without the playmaking and shooting?  What exactly makes him a better prospect?  Is it not clear the separation between them is the fact that the Grizzlies front office did a better job of surrounding him with pros?

That sophomore slump is gonna be somethin' serious in west Tennessee next year.  Book it.
