Trae was also supposed to miss 2 weeks with his ankle. I'll wait on word from the Hawks.

My dad didn't want to go on long flights when he got old either.   Maybe that's it.

Yeah.  I just didn't see anyway that would be a day to day injury.  I've never seen anyone 'walk off' a shoulder thing like that where he immediately reaches for it.  Hopefully it's some kind of strain that will be ok after the inflammation goes down.  But I don't pretend to be a doctor.  well that's not true but let's say i don't have a license.

No surprise.  When they had completed the MRI but were sending to specialists in Atlanta for more review that signaled to me there was no quick return coming.  They want to be sure he is clear and I don't blame them.  Get all the way healthy, Kevin!

Well, at least it isn’t the worst case scenario. Still doesn’t sound great and it will be hard for him to shoot for awhile. Hopefully he is only out for a month or so and can return with John Collins and be another Christmas present for us.

And is Huerter out because he is a wuss compared to players in the 80's or is it because teams are investing 10x the money on players in the game today and have a much greater incentive to protect the ROI?

Hopefully he is back by early December. The injury looks like an one month type.

They do a lot more movement. Just look at metrics that highlight movement, today's NBA player does a lot more movement moves and move a lot more in general.

I thought when it happened it would be a 4 week type deal if there were no tears or breaks. 2 to 3 weeks to heal than another week or so to regain strength and flexibility.

On that list of ATGs on the other thread, you'll notice that Magic and MJ missed a combined something like 107 games their second seasons.  Guys got injured back then too.
