Popular Post sillent
I think every player we have is or was on this list at one point and time. My only ask is can we get a full year in with a player (possibly more for our younger players) before we call for the boot? We pick Trae Young... Oh no, we traded Luka who cares of we got another 1st. The other 1st is Cam. Who cares he sucks in his 1st 20 games (Can anybody say rookie?). John Collins who is he? Trade him now since we haven't seen him the last 25 games. Kevin Huerter? He should be a G leaguer... Nope he's good. Nope we over estimated, nope he's good again. DeAndre Hunter #4? He hit his ceiling in college, nope wait he might be baby Kawhai. Alex Len he should start Damian Jones sucks. Wait Alex Len sucks and we need centers bad. Wait Damian Jones is actually pretty good and so is Alex off the bench. That DeAndre Bembry needed to leave yesterday. DeAndre Bembry is our only player that brings the energy every night on defense. Jabari Parker? Jabari Parker?? John Collins who? Oh Jabari Parker??? I think I got most of our core but hopefully you get it. Our fans/us can be as fickle as Josh Smith and most former ATL players (see TMac) think we are. Players don't want to not play for Atlanta because they don't love the city because they do. Players don't want to play here because they don't trust the fandom. We are a quarter(not even 25 games) of the way thru the season and I can literally bet half way or thru 75% of the season tunes will be changed once again once this young team has developed more chemistry and has most of our main players back. Sometimes we are comical and sometimes we are depressing but what happens if we all tried to be positive no matter what? We gave that energy to Atlanta United their 1st year and look what happened? Just saying it's time to change our tune as fans. The players will be ok, the team will be ok, the staff will be ok they are all just going thru the natural course. What if we as fans act like real fans of going thru judging our players at least by the year instead of game by game. It's not a sprint it's a marathon and we have a long inviting road ahead. Let's take a road trip and get off of the roller coaster that most of us are on and see if our players/team decide to join us. Most roller coasters don't last over 4 minutes. Let's not make permanent post off of temporary feelings because in the end who does that really help? Except the stock betting to laugh at us and honestly I think they've made a bad investment. As a fan we have to truly ask ourselves who are we betting on & than be true ride or dies and watch that good energy transfer to our team. 7

About where the Pels were last offseason. 35-38 wins. I think I predicted 41 and 8th seed but 35-38 this year might get 8th seed anyway in this once again weak east, and if the Hawks don't get it, its an up and coming team with another talented piece or 2 (c'mon Brooklyn) to add.

Players would rather go to philly and have batteries thrown at them? Or NY where a few bad games gets you media scrutiny like crazy. Hell Knicks fans booed at the draft when they picked knox. How about Boston?

We're known as the "soft", "fair weather fans" which surprisingly is just as bad. Most athletes live by the go hard or go home "mantra". We're least likely to go hard. Die hard goes a whole lot further than "in the closet" fandom. Just saying either we should be all in or all out not jump roping our way in and out of fan hood. Saying we like the team but wanting to trade our core players at the site of a mistake. There is a difference and the athletes feel it just the same. If some of us had it our way we would've had every player in the league by now from trades/drafts and still be dissatisfied by the results because they all mess up. They all irritate at times. They all have failed in clutch situations but ride or die's make them feel appreciated and welcomed regardless as long as they are not too detrimental to the team. 2 bad games in a row with us and guaranteed somebodies already calling for their head or has a trade proposition. I might be being a little too harsh but don't have a bad week. smh
Premium Member Popular Post cam1218 Posted December 6, 2019 Premium Member Popular Post Report Share Posted December 6, 2019 I agree 100%, but that is what you get on message boards lol. Some people need to vent, and this is their place. That said, you have those that go a little too far and you start to worry about their sanity. I’m sure there is a good chance nobody in their life cares to listen to them about how much they hate Bembry and Reddish...so that anger falls on us.
