I'm apt to believe that the megatrade is something like:

Johnson, #2, and Wiggins to Indy

Oladipo to Minnesota

Turner to the Warriors.

No Hawks in it.

Culver to the Warriors also.

That shouldn't be a problem at all. You never hear this with right handed players. Most don't go left.  They even try to force Trae to go left, but he's actually good at it.

See Dominique. He NEVER used his left hand. lol

Currently, only the Atlanta Hawks, New York Knicks, Detroit Pistons, Miami Heat, Charlotte Hornets and Phoenix Suns have cap space heading into the offseason, which has some players antsy entering the market. “Don’t play the waiting game,” one player advised current free agents this offseason. “Take your offer and run with it. There isn’t going to be time to be debating and playing games.”

I'm sure player/team negotiations through back channels have already begun, NBA isn't enforcing tampering this year.

Practical Cap Space is defined as the amount of salary space available if a team renounces all free agents, waives any players non guarantees and rejects all team options. Below are the teams with "Practical cap space". If questions about if that practical cap space is real or not. See the column active cap to see what they'll probably retain and subtract the difference from practical cap. It will help in determining if that team has real cap or not. Only Detroit, NO and Atlanta real players here. The Heat could get someone but they are short 6 players just like us.

Signed Active Cap Dead Cap Practical Cap Space
1 Atlanta Hawks 9 $57,903,929 - $49,344,424

4 Sacramento Kings 9 $96,984,325 - $30,979,082

“The $109 million salary cap will cause a hit for the middle class a bit,” the agent told HoopsHype. “Clubs will try to put as many veterans as possible on the minimum or mid-level exception. Agents will try for short-term deals in order to play the market when the league is back on solid footing.”

Translation - Atlanta can pick 2...players are in panic mode.

Short term $$ deals are perfect for us.  That is a nice match if we don't do a move that adds a major salary.  Get quality vets on one-year deals to fill in the roster with hugely upgraded talent around our core.  Keep flexibility for next summer's FA, trades, etc..
