Minny taking Edwards to me is the biggest no brainer.  Not sure why they'd consider anyone else given their other two 'stars'

Agreed.  He fits well there.

I cannot imagine the deal that makes sense to trade Harden to the Nets.  The Nets just don't have many assets.  Who are they possibly getting in this deal other than a load of potentially low value draft picks?  Are we talking about journeyman Dinwiddle and his career .410% FG%?  (.415% last year)  Or maybe solid but nothing great Jarrett Allen?  Those are nice rotation pieces on a good team.  Not what you get for trading the guy who has finished 1, 2, or 3 in the MVP voting every season for the past 4 years.

BTW - Dinwiddle can walk after this season.

What a colossal fail if they end up with something like those guys plus a Milwaukee0-style poo-poo platter of picks during the years Brooklyn is likely competing to win the East.

Update

Houston

Westbrook might be stuck in Houston if they don't get the offer they covet for him

Harden will be there for 2020-21. We were just talking about it but we both think New Orleans has the best shot of getting Harden in a rental deal next offseason. Harden, Ball, Ingram, and Zion would be tough and they have a ton of future picks which would appeal to a rebuilding Rockets.

Can't wait until details are released and kyrie is a part of the trade

Plot twist:

They trade Kyrie for Harden and Westbrook. They're getting the band back together in Jersey!

The three amigos finally got out of the boondocks of OKC and reconnect in a major metropolitan area.

Nets goona Billy King themselves again 😂

Nets at least try.

The fact that they traded all of that draft capital for Garnett and Pierce, and STILL ended up with Kyrie and Durant, is nothing to laugh at.

It just illustrates what I've been saying about the NBA and some of these owners.  It doesn't matter what their cap situation is.  And it doesn't matter if they have nice young players.  Those owners will always 'go for it', and try to acquire a star.

Brooklyn will have a buzz about them all year and have about 25 national TV games.

We will only have limited buzz, and might have only 2 National TV games.

Also, any guard coming East highly threatens Trae's All-Star chances.  Hopefully the fans will love Trae, even if they only get to see Youtube highlights of him.
