Just know that those within the organization think Cam will be our best player in a couple of years. They aren't trading him for anyone. That's why I haven't said too much in this thread. After the Crabbe trade, I thought there would be a little more activity. Unless the flood gates open soon, I'm not expecting much. These teams value their draft picks too much to bring in legit players. It's much easier to sell "hope" and the "unknown", than it is to bring in guys in which you know what they're about. I am reading the exact opposite about valuing this seasons draft picks. Future ones, I agree on. Teams are prepared to send picks for players like Covington, Adams, Capela, and Russell but the teams with those players do not value this years draft class. Especially once you get out of the lottery.

Check the second one out from the Ringer: I would trip Schlenk next time I saw him at the Farm if he did this. And as soon as he gets up I'll be right there to trip him again. And he's talking about the Trae/Trez PnR like it something new to us. Tell him see the Trae/JC PnR, Smh 1 1

Popular Post NBASupes
2 hours ago, NBASupes said: Update: Hawks end, nothing new to add Covington - Russell - Capela Centered Deal As mentioned by O'Connor, the Atlanta/HOU/MIN framework is agreed to at this time but the ultimate is obviously the Russell bit. MIN is not willing to give an unprotected pick. They want to give a top 5 protected pick, top 3 protected pick, that in time becomes unprotected. GS wants an unprotected. Beyond GS wanting an unprotected pick. GS does not want to take on Wiggins and they want to reroute him. Even if they trade Russell, they are open to getting rid of LT even though they aren't dire to do it. MIN is trying to figure out how they can do a deal where Dieng is the centerpiece that GS covets, not Wiggins but are financially having a hard time as Russell makes nearing 12 million more. GS would like to do a deal where they can giveaway both Robinson and Burks while taking on Okogie and Layman with Dieng but MIN has obliged to the deal. This would give GS just enough to go under the LT as well as gather several draft assets. MIN has no interest in moving either player and see both are players they want to keep moving forward. MIN is working on other options at this time to get Russell. I've been told MIN is open to giving a sweeter for someone to take on Wiggins. It make take a 1st. This will be expensive for MIN. It will literally cost them three 1sts if that to land Russell if they have to trade Wiggins as well. The plan for MIN is to add Russell without trading the young core. Wiggins and Dieng seem not to be a part of that planning from his understanding. While MIN should be getting buyer's remorse, they just like HOU are headstrong on this. Current framework MIN wants: Wiggins, HOU 1st, BK 1st, MIN top 5 protected 1st, Wiggins for Russell Current framework GS wants: BK 1st, MIN top 5 protected 1st, Dieng, Okogie, and Layman for Russell. GR3 and Burks being given away if possible. Likely framework that I think could work: BK 1st, MIN top 5 protected 1st, Dieng, exp fillers for Russell and exp filler. With Wiggins and HOU 1st going elsewhere for exp fillers. One more major update: Spurs have been really looking potential deals involving DeRozan. Charlotte and Memphis has shown some interest. They have also been putting out fillers on LMA and Rudy Gay. Could be a firesale in San Antonio. Nothing concrete yet. Update: This is getting good. MIN offered Kevin Love instead of Wiggins to GS and still got declined. MIN is looking for a 3rd team who can take on Wiggins. MIN is not inclined to trade a 1st and are looking at opportunities to see if they can without trading a 1st. MIN wants to keep HOU 1st which is different then what I got earlier. Atlanta, Phoenix, New York, Cleveland, Charlotte, OKC, Toronto, and Detroit have all been reached for Wiggins that he is aware of. I can confirm O'Connor take about Atlanta and Houston willingness to leave Minny out of the Capela talks if they can't strike a deal. Still, I can confirm that the Collins piece was BS. Atlanta goals haven't changed. They want to win, compete, get a starting center, and add a lot of shooting. OKC might hold on to Gallo till the off-season if the value isn't there. Golden State is giving mix signals and it's confusing people. There is a strong feeling that these five teams will make a deal during the deadline: Detroit, Atlanta, Minny, Houston, and New York. He said NY is just too active and they are motivated to improve the roster this year. 5

I don't believe they're that delusional. It would take multiple firsts to get rid of that albatross. 2
