If I'm the Mavs or Hawks, I'd prefer my stud player not to be involved in another game on top of the AS game. By definition, if you are already an "All-Star" you really can't be considered a "Rising Star." Share the love, plenty of other players to bring in for Trae and Luka! At least that is my opinion. Trae needs some rest and so does Luka. Both of their usage rates are over 34%

Honestly I started not to post it but man I had to make sure the term cherry picking was still what I thought it was!

Now we just need the actual Wizards media guy to apologize for pushing the conversation in that direction.  Since that is like his job and all.  I've got no idea of what her job is in life but many times the people surrounding an NBA star are just there to prop up said star's ego.  So the culpability should fall as much or more on him.
