This isn't the first time Trae been snubbed. He was snubbed last year by USA and the two years ago for U19. He was snubbed for Carsen Edwards, Emmanuel Quickley, and Shamorie Ponds. 

Two current Hawks made that team: Cam Reddish who was the star with P.J. Washington and Kevin Huerter who was the shooter off the bench.

Edit: Trae declined the invite to the camp. For some reason I thought he attended. He did not.

That being said, Trae should have been on this list at the least

Probably best for us but Trae's game is very well suited to the international game.  To not have him on the list is crazy.

Because Colangelo is mad the Suns didn’t draft Trae 1st overall. 2nd coming to Nash. Spilled milk now.

Trae will get his gold in 2024 if he’s healthy and willing. But it would have been cool for him to potentially get 4 of them from 2020-2032.

Yeah but, if I'm being honest, I can see a world where I'd lament our guys putting all that wear and tear on their bodies so I ain't gonna complain ... much.

Plus I'm not sure I wanna live in a world where scrubs like Kuzma keep getting the benefit of the doubt.  I mean, how much suckin' does he gotta do 'fore folks realize he sucks?

Not many young players on the list.(Pop hates young players.lol)..Taytum/Bam are the youngest I think..Derek White? wtf?  I guess the coaches feel bad for some of them because Trae is an Allstar starter... lol

Mike freaking Conley?  The guy who is shooting less than 39% and is barely averaging 4 apg?  The one with a 12.8 PER, negative BPM, negative RAPTOR and 0.5 WAR?  You had to make room for him over Trae Young?  

Well, that checks out given that Trae takes a steaming dump on those numbers.

Hate it for Trae.

But it's good for us in two ways.

First, yeah, the tire wear thing.

But maybe even bigger, if it is humanly possible to be more competitive than Trae already is, we're about to find out.
