Money always seems to be the decision maker but "A man has got to know his limitations". Or it would certainly be helpful anyway.

It is likely he is owed most of or all of that 5 year deal which is why the Cavs aren't making this deal unilaterally.  They want him to voluntarily agree to a buyout to reduce what they owe going forward.   That is my guess anyway.
