Heh, him yelling "ICE!" on the sidelines is pretty hilarious considering iiuc the league has basically done away with the offensive sets that can be effectively "iced".  Which is why his prowess as a defensive coach is no longer warranted.

He'll return them to solid-ness, which I guess is a step up for them, but not unless they improve the talent pool massively - which is not an automatic.

Fast forward about 3 years and I can see him being the next Knick coach being paid to not coach.
