I never go on that site. I always felt like I needed a shower afterwards when I did.

LukaGM is the most over reactionary site you will find, even the better opinions on there are like polished turds.

This has to be the dumbest trade i've ever seen a respectable site post

Quote

Atlanta Hawks Get: P.J. Tucker

Houston Rockets Get: Cam Reddish, De'Andre Hunter

De'Andre Hunter and Cam Reddish might one day become great two-way wings, but that day almost certainly won't come before 2022. Supposing the Houston Rockets get cold feet about paying the tax—not just in 2020-21 but for the foreseeable future—they'll need some lottery tickets on rookie-scale deals. If those lottery tickets also happen to be big wings who could, potentially, defend multiple positions in a switching setup, all the better.

P.J. Tucker is critical to Houston's scheme. But if the Rockets flame out in the 2020 playoffs, it could prompt a reconsideration of centerless lineups. More broadly, how much longer can Houston expect the 35-year-old Tucker, only 6'5", to keep banging with 7-footers?

2021 could be the time for a roster refresh.

In this exercise, Atlanta's goals are entirely near-term. That means it could justify adding Tucker's veteran defense and grit to a rotation that lacks both qualities—at the cost of two very young first-round talents.

Tucker could play more 4 with the Hawks, or even some 3 in oversized groupings with John Collins and Clint Capela. A corner-three specialist who already knows how to operate with a ball-dominant lead guard and a rolling big man (specifically: Capela), Tucker would be a no-brainer fit. And if the Hawks wanted to double down and add another vet while also removing the anxiety of committing to Collins on a near-max extension, they could still ship him out in a separate deal.

Trae Young, Tucker, Collins and Capela should be enough to get Atlanta in the mix—especially if Kevin Huerter stays healthy.

We are going to be picking a young player from college at 6. I think for the next 8 weeks there will be chatter but in the end we are looking to draft our future 6th man super sub, or someone who will blossom into a package for a trade later.

Now Hawks related but some dude just suggested a trade of #2 pick to OKC for the #25 pick and Lu Dort.

Yikes on yikes on yikes

That's worthy of a bann in my book.

Scrub fans are cocky idiots. They still believe they are a piece away from getting back in there. Delusional.

They are trying to go after Beal.

On a separate note why does every moron Warrior fan attach Wiggins to the deal acting like it favors the other team. His contract sucks, it’s not expiring, and he sucks. Why do the Warriors all of a sudden think that because he’s their property, he has more value? 🤔

I hope 🤞🏾 the Warriors burn in hell I really do. Along with the Celtics as an entire organization and Luka too.

The vast majority of NBA fans really don't understand anything related to the NBA salary cap and trades. I pick on people on this site, but the truth is the average Squawker is light years ahead on cap implications, value and trade values than 95% of NBA fans.

I realize you live in the Bay so you're subject to all the homer fans. But I just can't get on board with the Warriors burn in hell train. They just haven't had that prestige of a history to warrant that type of hate. In fact, I've always been a Warriors and Clippers fan because I grew up in the 90s feeling sorry for them. And that's not even a joke! I'm fine with the Warriors having their first limelight years. Because if they're winning it, that means the Celtics or LeBron aren't.

Now what I can agree with you on....
Celtics - yeah, burn in hell.
Luka - eat satan's shit.
