Premium Member Diesel Posted September 25, 2020 Premium Member Report Share Posted September 25, 2020 Do we spend some of our money on resigning Jeff Teague? Good Backup PG. Those are actually hard to find.
Admin capstone21 Posted September 25, 2020 Admin Report Share Posted September 25, 2020 He seems to have lost a step or two. Wasn’t impressed with his play since the return we need a backup who can defend ... still want Kris Dunn

nathan2331
If we bring him back on a 1 year deal I'd be fine with it. I like next year's offerings at PG better anyways.
Moderators AHF Posted September 25, 2020 Moderators Report Share Posted September 25, 2020 I think we could do better but we have done worse recently too. I mostly don’t want him back on more than a one year deal. I don’t mind overpaying for that one year but I see him on a pretty significant decline. Premium Member JayBirdHawk Posted September 25, 2020 Premium Member Report Share Posted September 25, 2020 I'd like to find an alternative first. If we cant, I don't mind bringing him back on a 1 year deal.
NBASupes
I am in the boat to bring him back for one year and draft our backup PG of the future in the 2nd round

Or will we need to move up in the mid 30s-40's? And where does Goodwin fit in the mix?

We should be able to buy a 2nd from the team with multiples if we can't trade for one.
Premium Member Diesel Posted September 25, 2020 Author Premium Member Report Share Posted September 25, 2020 The issue here is ability. For a BU PG... to a young star PG, you don't really want to bring in a player who has no experience being a starting PG. You want starter quality.. not need to be trained quality to BU Trae. Teague, Augustin, Reggie Jackson, or Trae Burke..... or Rondo or Dragic... are guys that should be in the conversation.
