Very solid signing.  He is going to give a good effort on defense and the results will be awesome.  Loved him in college and think he was expected to be a offensive threat early on in his nba career.  That’s not who he is.  He should slide into his role here and do very well.

I was thinking this morning about if we nabbed Bogdan could we fit Dunn in as the last signing. We needed the defense. And I have to think he'll push Trae to be better on the defensive end as well.

Probably the best news I've seen this offseason lol

I really wanted this kid. Super, super, defender. We needed a BU PG and he is the perfect ying to Trae's yang.

He is just an all around solid G who is a  pit bull defensively. 

He fits the age window, despite his contract being short. (Im sure his camp believes he will increase his value if he helps us make the playoffs, and he can cash in on next years marketplace).

This means no Rondo Im guessing which is fine by many here.

Wow. Pleasantly surprised. I also didn't believe the thread title when I saw it. So happy with this. I just wish we would have locked him in for more years at the rate we signed him. I can't believe how cheap we got him!

So much happier with Dunn than bringing back an unenthused Teague.  Better fit for us given his age than Rondo.  Badly needed defense behind Trae.  Someone with some fire to them.  All great additions to the team.   Love the love and love the price.

Damn full consensus is rare.  We all with this sh!t.  
 

There are only a handful of self-starters on defense in the league who had the foundation in college.  Those type of guys aren’t constrained by coaching limitations, Dunn gonna grind regardless.

Bad teams legit won’t score with Dunn, Cam, and Ogonkwu patrolling 3 levels.  
 

I won’t hold out hope that he’ll become a decent three point shooter but the staff has to push that FT% up some.  Had no idea his assist to turn was 2.6:1 (Joey from Blossom “whoa.”). Can’t wait to watch him nightly.

And am I the only one loving these far more reasonable contracts now?  5 mill for Dunn is highway robbery compared to some of the crap we’ve seen over the last few seasons.  I say that at the same time clowning Harden for turning down $50 milly per
