Premium Member JayBirdHawk Posted November 22, 2020 Premium Member Report Share Posted November 22, 2020 Now we wait for 48hours. I hope it's a declining scale contract. Never mind, saw we only hve $19 per hawkfan....thought we had $20.

That's Robert's suggestion. Push Sacramento into the Luxury tax. 2
klharper
Bucks got Torrey Craig and Bryn Forbes. Let’s hope this comes thru Also, if accepted, his contract would be 1.1M less than Bojan’s 4/73.1M from last year. I'll just be relaxing. Either way, Travis gets an A+ from me with his first foray into free agency. He managed the signings like a boss and he still will have about $2.3 million left to sign Skal.

Alex
If the Kings match the offer can the Hawks swing a trade for BB still?
marco102
Just now, Alex said: If the Kings match the offer can the Hawks swing a trade for BB still? Not for the first year. However, Schlenk structured the offer sheet, so that BB has a no trade clause for the first year and a 15% trade kicker.
marco102
Just adding all the offer sheet details here. May have been posted in the free agency thread. 1
AtLaS
We're going to be the deepest team in the league if Sac doesn't match. I just hope this doesn't mean not resigning Collins. Will definitely feel much better if we resign him soon.

We can literally give Collins, Young, Kevin, Reddish, Hunter, and Okongwu max contracts and will be fine. Now Tony would have luxury tax out the behind, but they could do that if they wanted because they hold their bird rights. 4

Because we have both their Bird Rights. You can go over the cap and into the luxury tax to pay your own players. Most owners don't want to pay luxury tax for non championship caliber teams, but from everything @NBASupes told us, Tony's willing to pay the Luxury tax.

Popular Post RedDawg#8
We are in good shape yall. These signings are actually assets and honestly dont hinder us long term. We have a 2 year window to see if this squad is worthwhile. After that, Gallinari is an expiring and BB is an easy move if push comes to shove
Premium Member Popular Post Sothron Posted November 22, 2020 Premium Member Popular Post Report Share Posted November 22, 2020 Our GM confirmed the ownership said they will pay the luxury tax to keep the team together. So...we're keeping Collins and Trae. If Sac doesn't match we'll have the deepest team in the NBA next season. Just let that sink in for a minute. We haven't had a truly deep bench since the mid 1980's Nique teams.
