Yes the Nets are legit contenders. The will most likely be the top seed in the East when it's all said and done. The only way they won't is if they sabotage their team by trading all that quality depth for James Harden. If they do that, their GM should be fired immediately.

Amazing effort from Huerter and Knight off the bench! Without them this is an obvious L. 

Huerter was amazing. He's embracing his role off the bench and you can see he doesn't feel any pressure to make plays. Shooting was terrific!

Knights first game was awesome. Hit those 3s and made the D respect his shot only to pump fake when a defender closed out hard, put it on the floor to elevate to the top of the square for a layup (with his right, he's left handed)! Super impressive move for a big! Trae even trusted Knight on an end of quarter drive and he made the right cut and drew the foul. His IQ is there. Something Bruno doesn't have at all.

This game is very telling that we won with so many guys out. Reddish and Hunter are NBA caliber players now where this time last year there were so much growing pains.

Can’t remember how many times folks were saying “it’s just preseason.”  You’d think it would sink in at some point.

Hawks organization should start pushing the MVP narrative for Trae. If the media won't acknowledge Trae as much, our organization can start chirping in their ear. Knight & Huerter played really well. Fernando did the dirty work with 10 boards with only 1 FGA in 17 minutes. Nice to see how deep our team is even without Rondo, Capela, and Galli. Good W Hawks.
