You cant get off to bad start in the NBA this year. Too many good teams and fewer games.

Pistons going to double over time with the Cavs, that'll affect those legs come Monday. 

A side note, the Hawks doing such a great job on Val just has me smiling. JC played way better against him than I thought he would.  Bruno did too. 

I'm just happy to see some winning.  

Also, when they were matched up,, Trae played better defense on Ja than vice versa.

Speaking of fax, everybody kept telling me how great the Clarke guy was.

And I kept telling people he looks good because he went to an ideal situation and is old.  He'll be a solid reserve in the league for 10+ years but he'll be the same guy in year 11 as he is in year 2 (for the most part, guys clearly refine themselves).  That's fine but folks gotta stop overrating him.

He was not a better pick, in any way, than either of our guys.  And, yes, that's something a lot of people have said

Biggest stat surprises to me:

Pts in the paint- Hawks 44 / Grizzlies 44

Rebounds - Hawks 54 / Grizzlies 46

Didn't expect that at all given Ja and Val with no Capela.

Their backcourt has played surprisingly well on the offensive end.
